I am Business Intelligence Analyst with NOC 2172 and more less frustrated after one year of job search and nearly 1000 applications...
Since I know that Canada is kind of transparent with their numbers and statistics I searched and found some interesting but also disillusioning facts on the Canadian gov sites.
I did some maths and sum for my self and I am not sure if the data is correct. The data covers Jan-Oct 2016 but the statement of this information will probably not change with 4th quarter of 2016.
Over all this time in NOC 21* has only 3576 admissions, the majority in ON. I have no clue if this also include lucky lottery applicants...
Diving into the exact match of my NOC Code there has been 40 fsw with an admission in 2016.
According to other sources Canada demands 20.000 to 30.000 professionals in 2172.
Whats is wrong there? are the demands incorrect? I guess yes, because I cant hit the jackpot and get an interview (since more than 5 months)
