I'm a app recived aug 22 2015 applicant. In the last month it changed to medical successful and now is in background process. It's driving me crazy....checking everyday for updates.

Hi can1989, I just did my medical about 2 months ago so it will be good for a bit. I recived a letter from Cic 3 months ago that said we requested your medical on Jan 20th and you have not completed. But they sent me a additional family background on that day. I called and told them about the mistake. I had been waiting for the request since I did my FBI fingerprints in aug 2016. So now since they made the error I'm going to have to wait even longer for dm. I'll have to re do my fingerprints soon since the expire on aug 30th. So now I check daily praying for updates. It's so frustrating. How about your case?

Stupid question, your case has been stuck in background for a long time. Have you called?

mines outland application, my medical expired on feb 2017 and i hvnt recieved remedical yet. have done mp inqiury, email cic, ordered gcm notes and all say security in process

I phoned and talked to Cic today, she told me my background is completed and I'm in final review, it doesn't show that on my check status. She said dm will be next but can't say when...I told her my FBI would expire expire aug 30 she told me I would not need to renew it. Fingers crossed for a fast decision for all of us
