Starting this thread to connect with the applicants who fall under ABU DHABI visa office.
Please share your experiences and timelines here.

and now waiting for further process.

Application received by visa office Feb, 2015 and they started processing application June, 1st 2015, sent medical request on September 14th 2015,
Sent RPRF and police clearance request september 20th and medical received by visa office October 10th and sent all required PCC and RPRF.


Currently, waiting for PPR.

Seems like ADVO is overburdened with work that is why the applicants have to wait for a long time for each n every step

My province is PEI and visa office is ABU DHABI since I was working in Oman before come to Canada since my work permit application and PR application are processing in Abu Dhabi office I am from Sri Lanka.

Any idea about why AbuDhabi VO timelines show so much of waiting.
As there are so many applicants in the forum whose VOs processed their files quite fast and they got their Visas within 4-5 months of filing their applications.
Wonder how long ADVO will be taking. Haven't received the file transfer mail yet even.

FT mail is sent to the applicants to notify about the file being transferred to the local visa office.

hi saskapr2015 , I have the same issue, my file is being processed in ADVO since Nov 2015 and its 9 months now and I didn't hear anything from them. do you have any progress in your file ?

i am waiting for last 12 months but not progress yet....

as I understand, the whole process takes 15 months.. hopefully they really stick to it.

Nothing yet msalah. Either ADVO is lazy or overburdened or may be they don't want the applicants to leave UAE soon so they are trying to delay the process purposely just kidding.
I just hope and pray how much time they take it should have a happy ending.

If they are overburdened then they to need to assign other applications to other visa office so they could concentrate on their backlogs.
