Anyone else having trouble checking there status?

These are the steps that I'm taking... I tried placing my info & tried using my spouses info.

- Check application status
- terms & conditions

Identification Type: UCI

Surname/Family Name: My last name
Date of Birth (YYYY-MM-DD): My DOB

Place of Birth: My POB

*submit button*

"We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."

Use the application # and fill in the information for yourself as you are the principal applicant. If you want to check under the sponsor's name use the UCI sponsors dob and sponsors last name.

Are you the sponsor or the applicant? If you are the applicant, you should use the application number instead of the UCI. The UCI number in the SA is the sponsor's, whilst the application number goes to the applicant. I am the applicant and I don't know my UCI number. I've been using the application number and it works fine. If I put in the UCI with my spouse's info, I can see both the sponsorship stuff and my application status.

I am the sponsor. I'll try using the application # with my husbands info and see what happens.

I know my SA has been approved so... Is this the AOR2?

Hi Skystar.. no news yet.. I've been waiting for updates from you guys who submitted much earlier.. hopefully we get feedback.. it's been awhile since any of us have an update from SGVO. i hope they speed up a little bit... the waiting is just tooo hard!

Congrats ccastillo! I just saw your spreadsheet. your application status is decision made right? That's good. It was really so fast. I have no changes yet. So worried

Ottawa does not send out AOR2, the next update should be in process in ecas which means they are then evaluating your sponsorship application and then finally a decision made.

I can't believe it! Thought it would take waaaay longer to see this. Btw, this is at the Ottawa office. On the spreadsheet I incorrectly put Missasagua, but cannot correct it now.

Hey guys, I received DM last week (In Progress on 6/1 and I checked on 6/4 so sometime between then it came) and I know I should be patient but with a couple others already receiving their COPRs in the mail I'm getting a little antsy. Does anyone have a best guesstimate as to how long it takes to mail to the US? I live in the southeast if that matters at all. Thanks!

give it 3-4 weeks, they send the landing papers via snail mail basically regular mail.

Yes, whomever has editing rights to the spreadsheet should fix that and also Monstergirly's should be Ottawa and not Mississauga as well. I can't remember who it is..?

Thank you! Apparently from the spreadsheets, it's hard to tell what IP means as far as a timeline goes. But I'm relieved to hear that my application hasn't been misplaced. I feel awful for the people who have had that happen. This process can be nerve-wracking.

For those who are looking for similar cases: I am American, 25, female, have been married to my husband (23yo) since 4/30/14 and have been with him since December 2012 in an online capacity. We have had 6 "trips" where we spent extended periods of time with each other but the last one wasn't in the app as we just finished last week. Our marriage was small, 2 witnesses in Toronto City Hall, and no extravagant honeymoon since it was my first time in Toronto so we spent it in his home city letting me explore my future home. Our families don't know each other but we are familiar with each others.

Hi Skystar!

It will be nice if that's true! haha But unfortunately, NOT! somebody incorrectly edited my timeline instead of theirs. Hopefully, they realize they were editing the wrong line. hehe I wonder how many more months it will take us on waiting..for now, let's enjoy the summer!

Congrats! I hope the timeline for my wife and I goes that quickly -- five months would be ideal for us as it would put us into September and the lease on her apartment expires at the end of October. It would be great to have a few weeks to prepare for shutting down her US life and preparing for the move. We're still thinking Christmas is more realistic, just because we don't want to get our hopes us and we know how Ottawa's timelines can change so quickly. **fingers crossed**
