Hello All.

Congratulations on getting AOR for January first week people.

Just one quick question .. When AOR comes via email whom does it address to ? (Means does it go to Spouse or spouse sponsor or Both ?)

I applied in mid February so hoping to come in next month I assume.

Please advise.

Thanks and YES the Mexico City VO! I've been living in Manzanillo, Mexico for more than 5 years now. I see your file transfer to Mexico on March 7!! Hopefully you will get stage 2 AOR in a couple months. And then things will move along quickly. Where in Nicaragua are you? My wife and I rode through Nicaragua in Nov 2013 while on a 10 month motorcycle trip to South America. LOOOOOVED Playa Majagual near San Juan del Sur. Coulda stayed there a couple weeks... or years lol.

That's great that you're able to stay down there thru this process. I can't remain down south due to work. My wife is Nica and from Ticuantepe, south suburb of Managua off the Pan-Am. San Juan del Sur and area is great, we were there this past January for a few days. Actually rented a motorcycle and visited the area around San Juan. Now only if I could have a satisfied income there then I wouldn't be so anxious for CIC to get these apps processed lol.

You'll probably received it tomorrow or the next day.. they just started opening January applications you shouldn't be worry since you are still below the indicated processing time on CIC.

And for the people who keeps on worrying too much... calm down.. you'll received it soon! The way i see it... CIC is getting better ths past few days and we should be thankful!

Drop off all the negativty and let's all be positive! eventhough CIC disappoint us most of the time.. let's give them credit for processing Jan app below the indicated 82 days on the site.

And for the spreadsheet, yes please feel free to add the details CAREFULLY.

This forum is to help and lift our hopes up and not to stress us ???

That happens to me, I get nervous with stuff I read, but I agree with ccastillo; let's use the forum to help eachother feel better and find solutions to any set backs. January has just started, so for all of us who still haven't received anything, it still could be upto 82 days let's just be positive and hope CIC keeps up the pace.

I saw someone mention that the fast pace people get answers depends on what VO the app goes to, but I really don't think that could be true because to see what VO it goes to they have to open the package, and if they opened it then they send AOR no?... Just an idea...

On another note, I see lots of people moving to Calgary after all this torture is over! Hello fellow Calgarians ;D!
