Anymore updates, guys? My application is still stuck at "application received." I've just ordered my third set of notes. The first two were identical.. hoping for some progress on this set. I've been in Canada for nearly 2 years now and I'm in debt up to my eyeballs. I REALLY need my PR so I can get a dang job already!

We have similar timelines, just received my second set of notes yesterday dated July 24. Is your paper file still labeled as "FCP Inventory" and no one has been assigned to your file? However ECAS changed to IP on the 6th of August. :-\

Yeah, my last set of notes is from June 22 and it still said "FCP Inventory" on it with no one assigned. I'll be getting my next set in about 3 weeks. Hopefully there will be progress. I saw you posting about your change to IP and it made me feel hopeful, since we applied around the same time. I hope we both get our DM's really soon!

I find I am getting quite anxious (understatement) and checking the application status frequently.

Under my husband's "Permanent Residence Application Status" it says "Application Received"

1. We received ________ application for permanent residence on January 29, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.

Is there anything missing from that list?

Just wondering if any others who have their applications being processed by Ottawa are in the same situation.

I saw an older post where someone posted what appeared under the Applicant, In Process status...and the only other line that was shown in addition to what you stated above was "We began processing your application on <date>"....

Under my Permanent Resident Application Status it says "In Process"...but then under that it says the same as yours
1. We received ________ application for permanent residence on <date>.
2. Medical results have been received.

I've heard that some people's status doesn't change to "In Process" until just before their PPR....but for people like us, looks like it will be sitting on "In Process" for a while as I'm pretty sure my husband's application hasn't even reached the outland VO yet.

Good to know! We've been stuck in Application Received for PR since March. But maybe we won't even see IP and skip right to DM. A girl can hope, right? I'm checking our status daily as well. Hopefully soon!!

I'm going to assume this means they've opened my file..? How to I change my cell on the spreadsheet? It keeps saying it's protected and I need to contact the owner. Wanted to change to pink for additional documents requested. Thanks!

I got the same email!! FINALLY! Feels good to hear something. Does anyone know where to send the proof of residency? We've already paid that fee. And would a Internet bill quality as a utility bill?

Does he have a Canadian bank account? If you print the online statement that should show proof of address.

Ottawa is on a roll today, i got the same email. Did your letter state anything about medical and being forwarded to CIC?

It says this at the bottom. "**Medical examination. Please complete your immigration medical examination. If you have already passed your medical examination, please also send your medical examination form with the rest of your documents. " I'm pretty sure I don't have to send them anything since I sent it all with the application in the beginning. I don't think I have anything else to send.

Anyone know if you send the sponsor's canadian proof of residency by scanning the documents and emailing them, or if you have to mail them?

Email is fine and faster as well. Just make sure your attachments are less than 5 MB. I just sent mine a few minutes ago.

I just received the same email.
We've paid the fee already, we even accidentally over paid and received a refund.

However we need to provide proof that I intend to move to Canada.

"If your sponsor does not currently reside in Canada, please provide proof that he/she intends to reside in Canada."

We are planing on giving copies of:
#1. Bank records in Canada proving we are continuing to transfer money to Canada for our move.
#2. Additional affidavits from family stating they are willing to take us in.

We don't have any children to register in school, and we are not buying a house anytime soon. I'm also planing on taking my work with me.

What other forms of intent to move should we provide?

Yea same thing but the notes say medical passed so I'll disregard I think we will get DM within the next week 8)
