My Husband got visa and is flying this Thursday

the first thing I do in the morning is check my online application status. Still the same, Application Received.
I dont know how you guys have the patience. I'm flying back to my husband on August 31st and staying with him for however long it takes to get his PR so we can fly back together.
Bye bye job,family,school, etc. for 2 years.

I only submitted my application on April 15th, but it feels like FOREVER!!!!

I know the feeling....I did the same thing last year (although we only submitted June of this year). Although I love being able to be with my husband, I can't help but worry sometimes about the loss of income / stability. We just got our second rejection letter for visit visa this morning. Would be so nice if he could at least VISIT his future country. Now I'm starting to worry that they won't grant him PRV. I will stay with him wherever in the world....but it won't be easy for sure. That having been said, we are so lucky (compared to his family who are still in Syria). In the end, all I can do is hope everything will work out okay.

I feel that same as you. My file went in on April 7, 2015 and I got sponsorship approval but have received no communication from the visa office in Trinidad. The only thing that I am waiting for is the 90 day mark. Apparently CIC has a standard that the visa office should send out a communication within 90 days of receiving your application. If it goes longer than 90 days you can send a polite email as a reminder to let them know that you have not received AOR2 from the visa office. That is something at least.

Other than that I am waiting just like you.

As of this morning I am no longer able to login to ECAS using my spouse's information (application number). It was working previously and showed my spouse's home address abroad.

I did not click on remove access and it simply stopped working. I am however still able to login with the UCI number. ???

that is strange. maybe call the call centre and see if they can advise you....

Hi guys,

I send my application on April 28th 2015 and I got an answer from CIC on the 22nd of June approving of me to sponsor my husband. I then had to send my application for Ceritificat de Selection de Qubec. Does anyone know how long that will take? My husband is going to be processed in Romania and I am hoping is not going to be a long process and he will be able to move to Canada before the 18th of February ( because I AM PREGNANT AND THAT MY DUE DATE!)
He did apply for a temporary visitor visa but he was refused! I AM PRAYING WE WILL GET NEWS SOON!
