Thanks, it was supposed to be sent to Ankara with 11 months timeline but was transferred to Amman with 24 months timeline.

That's strange. Did the main applicant live in Jordan at all? Why would they transfer there? I'm just asking because could it be a mistake? In that case you should call them to check why?

Yes it is strange, no I dont live there, as cic website our application must be forwarded to Ankara. My wife is going to call them to verify it. Maybe due to overload of work in Ankara they have sent it to Amman.

I have a feeling it's a mistake. Who knows, maybe the person saw Ankara and somehow picked Amman just because it started with A lol

I wish it will be a mistake cause in Amman VO, it is better to forget going to canada 24 months and was just reading a topic of that VO they are super slow. I will update

So the update, my wife called and they said it is not a mistake an due to overload of work in Ankara they have forwarded it to Amman. Can you believe this, it is a fucking hilarious to forward an application to a VO which is by default busy. Stupid cic, they dont care about couples being away just doing a fucking stupid job. Anyway we will apply for csq, and then my wife will be back home, being away for 24 months, forget it

Hello everyone, ecas status decision made but still now I am not got SA letter, anyone tell me why?

Just as an FYI - I called cic and I got SA on June 1 - still not email or letter from them
Additionally they said they were re-sending the letter since I never got AOR either....
Still as of today nothing from them
I was able to get my Unique Number and am able to actually log on now and see what is happening...

Keep in mind that the times listed are to process 80% of all applications. Anything that's standard will go much faster than 24 months, although you'd have to look for what other people are experiencing from Amman to get the full picture. But it is possible that a higher percentage of people needing interviews in Amman is throwing the "wait" time over more than in Ankara and the actual time you experience if everything is normal with your application could be faster than if it had gone to Ankara. I agree it looks like a stupid move on CIC's part, but see if there's an Amman thread and get an idea of the more standard time for completion.

Keep checking- I don't think they send the letter via mail, it's usually email. I received my DM on June 4th as well. It's possible that you might hear something Thursday. Someone that I know heard actually one week after getting the notification of DM to receiving the actual letter from CIC. Hang in there, i'm sure it's coming soon.

cic web shows my application was received in April 24 but I haven't get AOR, SA , usually do they send SA and AOR by mail or email? , do i need to call? Thanks!!
