Can't make new topic..

Can someone pls tell me if our application for permanent residence sent by our father last 2012 still have a chance to get approve? should we wait or not? there's no new update in our Ecas when i checked our status still APPLICATION RECEIVED. My father will take his oath of citizenship this 24 of july 2015, do you think me and my brother still have a chance cause 3 years of waiting is kinda long.. no new update..
