2015-2016- still waiting ..stuck in security..plz read

You folks do realize that the security checks being held up are usually a result of your home countries not answering the requests of CSIS in a timely manner in order to complete your background and security checks, right?

If thats the case why doesnt immigration say that??... evrytime we ask they hve no answer ...i am not upset bout the wait, i am upset with the lack of information we get. If the goverment wasnt responding then how come alll afghan women applicants get ppr within 6-9 months... theres a trend for afghans men and security check.. i understand and agreee with mking sure checks are done properly...but comon its been over 1 year of security check how heartless can one be. I do not believe it has anything to do with our home country delaying it.

You obviously have your mind made up that there is some conspriacy to keep all afghan men out of Canada. So you go ahead and keep believing that. I won't indulge your fantasies with facts.

But also some cases are late because officers started background late we know all that they let files sleep for long before they start process really, also is fact they take longer processing men than women even if have no charges all complete , even military service should not be a problem as Americans and Canadians do service in army .
As said there should be more transparency of steps and time frame
All answers they send are so open ended and online show nothing .

Honestly I appreciate your explanation and I know u mean good but so many people are here within a year from the same city as my husband and we are from Iraq. It just doesn’t make sense why some cases take longer. Is there a chance for them to refuse our application at this point after waiting so long. I guess I just want to make sure he comes even if it takes another year, I will wait. I have no choice. I just don’t want the application to be refused. He has clean background thank God and we are in the last stage. Thanks guys.

Its ok hun ...they dont understand as they obviously are not in the same boat as us. Ignore them they just dont want to help rather bring down others... ignore and move on

Asking a question and demanding answers in a public forum will get you answers, PUBLICLY even when you don't like them.

Hi folks. I'm 2016 inland applicant and still stuck on security checks. I've been waiting for DM since January 2018 when I got AIP. Anyone in the same situation? It's frustrating.
