2014 Work permit processing times - NY Consulate

Does anybody who filed TWP applications in New York consulate have timelines to share? I filed mine online (with LMO) May 23 and only silence.

Their posted processing time is 4 months.

yes, that's right. however, around March others have posted timelines within the 7-10 week range.

If you happen to be a US citizen (as well as in some other cases), and the timeline is a problem for you, you should know that you can apply for your work permit when you cross the border -

Hi Filed on 11th August 2014 by mail paper application. As per VFS it takes 30 days to process it.

Under processing ..............

So wait is on
