2014 QSW applicants waiting for AOR / MEDICALS

Everybody who applied for the CSQ federal process to Sydney in 2014, let us touch base here.

I applied in March 2014 for the federal process and I am still waiting for my AOR and Medicals. I got my CSQ in February 2014 after a three years of first applying for it.

That is weird that you still waiting for AOR/Medicals.

I sent my application to Sydney in February 28, 2014 for processing in Mexico. 30 days later I got my AOR and 40 days after AOR I got request for Medicals, Police Clearance.

My E-Cas already shows to be "in process" since 30 days ago. Hopefullly, I'll get passport request soon.

Now that worries me. Is it possible that a past application denial can cause this? I applied for the federal in 2009 but was rejected because I did not have any experience. I naively thought that my experience as a teaching assistant and a masters degree will get me the PR.

But would that be responsible for this delay?

I don't think so. Even if they denied FSW application, QSW is a different program and having CSQ means you have already been accepted by the province.

However, do have in mind that FSW applicants started sending application in April so they must have more work than usual. I'm also part of a spanish language forum and all applicants that sent their application in late march, april just started getting AOR. Whereas, me that send it February 28, got it on April 4, about a month after sending the application.

Another possibility might be in regards to the application. If you didn't feel it properly or sign it; they might have returned you application through regular mail.

So it might be down to those 2 options. Even if they FSW rejection were to influence in the process, they would still send you the AOR and would deny you later on when the app is in process.

Well I actually use David Cohens law firm for my application. And I think they take your application through a checking process to make sure nothing is left out. I can just wait and watch on what is going to happen. Good luck on your application. Lets hope mine comes through as well.

I got AOR in July but no Medical since then, guess someone made a mistake and omit mine. don't know what happened to my case.

what is your VO? I think NDVO bundles AOR with medical. Not all VO's do that

Yes, but you must have selected the visa office that deals with your application. They transfer it to the VO that you selected after reviewing it. I think the AOR and the medical are sent by the VO and not Sydney

I can choose the VO? On my CSQ, the VO is Bufflo, so that means my file will be transferred to Bufflo, and there they send the Medical to me? Also, I realize Bufflo office is already closed, is that the Quebec immigration office made a mistake? Suryak86, what is the office on your CSQ?

Yes you can choose the VO. My CSQ also says buffalo but when you file the federal, you can choose a VO which is either in your country of nationality OR your country of residence which ever is faster. SO in my case, in my federal application , I chose New Delhi because it is faster than the consulate here.

So when you submitted your application, you chose New Delhi as your VO, then after the first reviewing, Sydney, Nova Scotia transferred your file to New Delhi, there they started the second stage, right?

I was thinking that its the VO that you select that sends you the AOR and Medical Requests but I may be wrong.
