Hi guys anyone help me here? I just submitted an application to Mississuaga.
Date Submitted: June 18, 2014
Date Recieved: June 23, 2014

Usually how many days or months to wait until I can recieved a confirmation from them that they recieve my application together file number?

And in addition to that I will be expiring on January 7,2015, is it possible if I will apply an open work permit as soon as I recieve a file no.?

Here's an Inland thread that is dedicated for 2014, u can join here and someone will include u in the spreadsheet..based on that spreadsheet, the AOR is usually 4months from the date CPC-M received it..that is the common trend as per the spreadsheet..here's the link: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/inland-applications-2014-t179207.0.html...and as to ur OWP, u shouldve included that in ur PR application that was sent to Mississauga..Different app but same envelope..hope this helps

As mentioned by the previous post, you should have included the OWP application with your Inland spousal sponsorship application, which would have given you implied status (after your current status expires).

It's possible to send the OWP application now, but you should contact CIC to find out if it will still work to give you implied status.

Either way, you will not receive your OWP until you reach the first stage approval (AIP) which is probably ~ 11 months away (based on the current processing times).

Hi,

I am a June applicant too ad received the AOR last August 8 under Common Law Partner.

I hope somebody could answer me here and explain to me and other members of this forum about the changes or updates of forms.
How does it affect our application?

They have received my application last June 20.
I have submitted the Form IMM 0008 (03-2014) and I just saw now that there's a Form IMM 0008 (06-2014) version.
I'm not sure when did they change it, if it was before I have submitted or after.

Will it affect my application?
Which version of IMM 0008 did other June applicants used?

I would be very grateful if somebody answers me... It would help the other members as well.
