That's exactly what we're talking about! It's funny the comparison, right? Remember that it was about that time when CEC eligibility changed from 2 years work experience to 1 year work experience.

So you also believe that the targets reset on January?
OK let's say this is true. Is there anything you can do about it?

Yes people who would have applied in Jan 2013-June 2013( Year reduced to 1) eventually will have ending up getting PR around Jan 2014- June 2014 or Later so hike make sense here.

But for the year 15 K I believe still it wouldn't have reached , Your say ?

Makes sense to me. I don't believe the target has been met yet, but I do believe we're almost there. Processing times updates quarterly, so I'll keep an eye on it: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-ec.asp

This data is irrelevant to what we are discussing, but thanks for telling us about data.gc.ca.

We are not discussing applications received, but granted PRs. Now this is what we are talking about http://data.gc.ca/data/en/dataset/6a26595e-3b66-4591-b795-87702ed5d58e

According to this, 5,592 people received PR under CEC from 2014-01-01 to 2014-03-31 (first quarter of 2014). That doesn't answer my question, but at least I can infer that the targets reset on January.
I was just sharing an example.. You can search data bases on your link. I shared home page first.. My point was to make ppl aware about such things and stop worrying about some unwanted rumors.. I hv seen ppl were worrying about some data which were updated in Jan 2014..

I can set my expectations and stop the wishful thinking. Some people would rather not know, but that's not my case.

So you mean to say only 15K PRs would be approved?? How you got to know this Number??? I am confuse here.. As far as I know Once you get AOR means you don't have to worry about any Caps..

No, we don't know that. You've got AOR, you DO NOT have to worry.

What we are discussing is our interpretations of immigration targets based on data available online. That's all.

Yeah, you right about people worrying too much, but I have to disagree about the rumor part. We are interpreting data available, it might be right or wrong. It's not about rumors. It would be if I pulled data or information out of nowhere to substantiate my interpretation.

I agree my friend that you pulled data from authentic source. But my only concern here is that people in this forum are already in panic mode.. If we can take extra care before sharing some data that would be great..

Well this kind of explains the delay in PPRs ..

On a positive note for now we can believe in this theory - "15K target is not met but was close and CIC wanted to spread it across all the quarters so they kind of suspended the PPRs for Q3 .. Q4 begins in a weeks time and may be we can expect the flow of PPRs again"

NOTE: Guys this is just my optimistic & wishful theory .. please don't take my word as something what CIC has actually planned and please don't spread a rumor based on this :)

I wish and hope ur theory turns out to be the reality and we actually start receiving PPRs :) lol

Serious feedback needed,, APPLIED UNDER 0631 IN SEP 2013, EXACTLY ONE YEAR AGO,, ECAS SAYS DECISION MADE ON JULY 15.
GCMS NOTES mentions that immigration changed my NOC to 6311, which can not be considered anymore after may 2014.? I AM totally confused now, is this the reason for the delay my application? what happens if this NOC IS not acceptable anymore? Help Please.........
will my file still be eligible?
You are safe. don't worry and you will get your PPR on and after 15th December.

Immigration targets are set for the fiscal year, April - March. (Q2-Q3+Q4+Q1).
