We also got our passports back the same day (Jul 15th)! We'll be landing in Calgary in One month.

Did they ask you for some other docs before or after requesting MR?? Have you try to contact Mexico VO directly regarding your process, it has been long enough that you deserve to know what's going on?

Probably it would be a good idea for you to request (or have someone to request) ATIP/GCSM notes on your file, that would tell you exactly what's going on with your case.

Well, from MCVO I got an email saying that they will contact me as soon as the Regional Medical Office would finish processing my medical tests. I also went to the Embassy in Havana and they told me it takes from 3 to 4 months to process, so, maybe until August I won't get any news. I see that we Cubans are lagging behind others, maybe it is the hospital's fault, but we may not know for sure. I already decided that patience is my friend, I am sure I will get good news, it's only a matter of days now.

Well, it seems like everyone is advancing on their process.! I received my passports back on July 18th. Iam planing to do my landing in April 2016. I really appreciate your help throughout my process, special thanks to danielmcano, nikoniko, lcamalvarez, and to everyone else who took their time to post answers or questions on this thread. I wish you all the best of luck and success in you future adventure in Canada.
I'll keep on coming back to the forum to check if anyone needs help. ;D

Hi! We did our Meds on March 21, but we send them until May 11, because we were expecting our original letter to go get the Police Certificate, well we never did get it so went with the print our version they sent us, and discover they didn't ask for the original. Anyway I guess somehow that date was more accurate, May 11. So basically there were 2 months since we sent our paperwork to them.
