I'm happy to share great news ... Passport request !!!! Finally after three stressing weeks.

One question for those who sent and received their passports back already ... Fedex or UPS? I'm definitely not using DHL again.

I Went to Fedex today and they can't sell you a prepaid airway bill, then i went to UPS and the guy knew everything about the process and it was a smooth sailing.

I have a question, the Passport request arrives by email or on the ECAS?... Was it three weeks from the day you sent all your documents (PCC, RPRF payment) to the Embassy?

Hi Guys, sorry i didnt have the time to write it before. I received passport request and RPRF on monday just 3 weeks after sending medicals, PCC and proof of relationship ;D ;D ;D

I have a question: In your experience do you think MVO will ask for new Police Certificates if they have already requested MR and RPRF?.

For Cubans have any of you being requested Police Certificates after initial application (in case you submitted your Police Certificate with the initial application)? If yes which one did you submitted? The regular one translated or you did it through Consultoria Juridica Internacional?

I am asking because I submitted PCC with application and MVO has not requested new ones and they already requested Medicals and RPRF, but if there is a chance they will be requesting PCC I would like to have that in advance just in case.

It was 3 weeks after sending the second package containing pcc, proof of relationship and others. The VO lost the first package sent at the end of March.

They sent ppr via email.

Medicals done - may 4th
3rd line - may 11th
passport request - june 15th

I am very happy for all of you who received passport request. Congratulations!!

I just sent all documents (Proof of relationship and marriage certificate) again to the MVO because I think that at least one of the envelopes that I sent in May could be lost.

I also enrolled in the "Canadian orientation abroad" that will happen in Colombia in the next few months...

I hope all runs as fast as it ran for you guys!!... 3 weeks was a very short wait...

I just received confirmation from MVO that they have accepted my RPRF online payment receipt through email and that there is no need to send it by mail.

Medical scheduled for end of next week 8) 8) 8) 8)

Questions for Cubans

Usually how many days between passport request and the day they tell you you have to go to the Canadian Embassy in Havana with your passport??? Are they still picking up the passports in the morning and returning them in the afternoon with the Visa stamped?
