Hi guys,

Quick question here, I sent my application 19/12/2014 under noc 2172. I haven't heard anything from CIC. At this point I'm assuming that the application will not be processed. I know from the carrier that the enveloped was delivered to nova scotia that date. Is there a way to know what happened ? Because what I understand is that if the noc was full, CIC will return the enveloped but that didn't happen either.

Yes indeed jeje thank you belle... by the way if you live in Mexico City, you must know that you don't have to wait for the original letter from the Embassy asking for the police certificate, you may just print the letter from your email and bring it together with the other documents at the PGR Sede in Mexico City.

I just did it yesterday and everything was fine.

Thanks for such good information!!

Yes I'm in Mexico City, I guess I should go to the PGR in Insurgentes Sur. Are you going back in 10 business days? Or is there a chance the letter is ready sooner?

Hi Belle, yes the PGR office is in Insurgentes Sur, and they will send you to another office to get your finger prints. They said probably it would be ready within 4-8 work days and maximum 10 days.

Hi, sorry to hear this. I initially applied under 2174 in September 2014 and the application was returned, due to cap being full, in February 2015, so they take a lot of time before sending it back.

Hi guys, quick question for Cuban applicants who already did their MR. From what I understand the medical exam fees must be paid in a BFI, but can it be on any branch? Because I've been told that it must be on the one located in 100 and Boyeros, which is the closest one to Hospital Nacional. Can any one confirm this?

Thanks

Hello Folks,

I'm happy to inform that I received my passport request last Friday. They are asking me for the following:

1. Original valid passport for each approved applicant.
2. 2 photographs for each person 35 mm x 45mm. Enter complete name on the back. Use a soft pen.
3. Prepaid Airway Bill (a prepaid airway envelope from an international courier service company such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, Etc.) Please ensure that the courier company used has service available in Mexico.
4. Confirmation of your current mailing address

I have two questions:

1. The adddress to send this documents is "Canadian Embassy - Immigration Section, Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 193, Col. Granda, Del. Miguel Hidaldo, 11520, Mexico D.F, Mexico"?
2. The "Confirmation of your current mailing address", I think this is just a note where I estate that my mailing address continue to be the same, right?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Congrats on getting your Passport Request!

Hi guys!

Need your opinions on some matter ...

I just realized that I forgot to fill the RPRF payment receipt, I mean, I printed the receipt and sent it to the VO but without filling the address, DOB and UCI details. One is suppose to fill it by hand. The envelope containing all the documents sent (RPRF receipt, PCC, proof of relationship documents has all my details (address, name, etc), but know I'm worried.

I sent an email to the VO including the scanned copy of the receipt to the same email address from which I received PCC, RPRF request. Do you guys think this will work or should I send the physical copy to the VO?

Please, any comment, suggestion will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Jorge.

Last night I read in another thread a post from some guy indicating that one should print the receipt, fill in the empty spaces (address, DOB, etc) by hand and send it to the VO. I read the email again and it doesn't mention this, that's the reason of mi concern.

Thank you pocketman.

Hi NIKONIKO just a little change... I didn't receive second line update, they just sent the email asking for MR and RPRF so my payment was already done on May 13.

Thanks

Hi Everyone!!

This is my first post since we applied for FSW Canadian immigration. Application was received by Canada office 2nd week May 2014, PER was received 2nd week Aug 2014 and we were informed that Mexico City is our assigned VO (we live in Haiti). The 2nd line was updated that our application is sent to the VO and is under processing. End of Nov 2014 we received the police certificates request and were also asked to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) and had 60 days to comply (which we did in due time i.e. 20 Dec 2014). Since then there is no update; no email, no status update, nothing.

People who applied after us have already received their MR but we are still waiting. We did send an email to CIC a week ago and are still waiting for a response. Any suggestions?
