Hi everybody,

I am from Bogotá, Colombia and I sent my documents for FSW last September. I was looking for a post like this where we all can share the processing times for the Mexico Office. I see that the "estimated processing time" of the CIC page is about 37 months, but for the dates that you have shared here it seems that it is way shorter.

These is my info (and dates):
Visa Office......: Mexico City
NOC Code......: 2281
App. Filed.......: 07-09-2014
AOR Received.: 06-01-2015
Med's Request: Waiting
Med's Done....: Waiting
Passport Req..: Waiting

I have a doubt. Why is anybody informing about the status "We started processing your application on XX" in the ECAS webpage?... is that not relevant?... mine says: "We started processing your application on March 26, 2015."

I'll keep in touch with this post...

Thank you all very much!

I have another question, my apologies for the double post:
Do you receive your Medical Request by email or by regular mail?... I'm asking because I changed my address but it doesn't seem to be correctly typed in ECAS.... although I wrote to them again and they guarantee that it is correctly written in their systems...

-Thanks for sharing your dates, can you please tell us the date of your PER?
-The estimated processing time from the cic page is really outdated, for the fswp 2014 the process time is around 12 months.
-The second line update on Ecas (We started processing your application on XX), is an indicator but not reliable at all, in my case I got MR without Ecas update, and it was updated some days after.

The MR is sent through E-mail.

Hi, thanks for the prompt reply... I hope that I'll receive the MR soon...

I just realized that I made a mistake with the dates (my apologies)... here is the summary including the PER

AOR Received.: 22-09-2014*

Since you have your second line you will be in the next batch, some member of this forum noticed there is a pattern of sending Mrs by the end of the month, I hope you got it earlier though.

Hi!!!
Many thanks for your table! Its very useful! I wonder if you could add extra info about e-CAS lines. I know it is very variable but maybe some pattern could come out! For example we could have a general idea about how much time pass between the second line and the medicals, between the medicals and the third line and between the third and the four line.

In my case:
1) Application received on June 26, 2014 (App filed)
2) We started processing your application on March 31, 2015 (I realized this line had been updated on April 7)
3) Medical results have been received (November 4, 2014) They updated this line before the previous one
4) Waiting...

I encourage people to share their information!!! Pleaseeee!!!

Thanks in advance and best wishes for you all!!!

Hello Guys!

Today I completed my medical checks. It took this long because the doctor had a busy agenda and only until today was the appointment available. The lab tests were taken two weeks back and according to the doctor everything looks fine. He will be uploading this report through e-medical.
I also sent today all the receipts from this medical check, PCC and RPRF to the Mexico Visa Office. Now it's time to wait and see what happens next.

That's great danielmcano! please keep us posted of any progress on your process. BTW, how long (hours) does the medical examination take?

That was a very short examination with the doctor. It took 15 mins with each one of us. And regarding the lab tests, they were completed in about one hour
