Toronto. And no contract since i am on a comission.
That's a gd idea. To correct it after the per.

Hi Lebanese,
I am sorry to hear that your application was returned by CIC. I applied under NOC 1114 as a financial planner and application reached 20th October 2014. I did not include my contract in the documents submitted (even though I did include my salary advice) as I thought the reference letter will be enough. Do you think mine will be returned because I am also a commission earner?

It doesnt matter if it's on a commission or not. But this is our last chance. As we cannot apply under ee.
What did u include in your reference letter? Can u type in the job description? And did u apply under self employed?

I did not apply under the self employed category as I am working for a financial Institution as a Financial planner, my remuneration is strictly commission.Apart from the responsibilities stated below I did mention that my remuneration is commission based.

• Assisting clients by developing personal financial plans which include retirement planning, investment planning, death/risk and estate planning.
• Advising clients in implementing the financial plan to help them achieve their financial goals.
• Recommending products/solutions that will help clients achieve financial goals.
• Monitoring clients’ portfolios to ensure quality and profitability.
Hope this helps.

u probably have a file number? it is different from UCI. but UCI should be identical to all your immigration apps.

Hello sn2014 or rimi
I was wondering if you guys could help me out here:
I'm an arranged employment applicant and the visa office is New Delhi. In addition, I applied within Canada.
I received my file # mid november since then I have not heard anything from CIC. Since you have been through all these steps, was wondering if you could shed some knowledge.
Once New Delhi receives the file, Do they send out a confirmation ? stating, we have received your file, or working on it .... da da da
Is it too early to expect medicals in my case?

Thank you !!

Hi Big Boy,

Yes, New Delhi generally sends out an AOR email when they receive your file from CIO.

For most of December, I doubt much work happens at CIO. So, possibly they haven't sent it out or sent it recently.

Keep following the 2014 fsw spreadsheet. It's a pretty good indicator. When applicants with similar timelines as you start getting updates, you know to expect one too.

Good luck!

Hi Seniors,

Season's Greetings to everybody here.
I'm new and really like this forum.
My application was received by CIO on Oct 22nd along with a ESDC approved job offer (Positive LMO). NOC 6211.
Payment is DD. When can I expect to hear from CIC? Many thanks in advance and best wishes to all.

Welcome! You should receive it this week. :)
