Reg: Validity of IELTS (Urgent)

I wrote IELTS in June 2012 and keen on applying in FSW 2014 opening on May 1. Will there be an issue in terms of validity of my IELTS report. What date would they consider good for end of two years period.. is it the date on which application is received at CIO or the date when the VO review/ assess my application ?

Pls let me know ASAP.

Hi,

I was checking the document checklist and its mentioned in point no.12 . Work experience that we need to submit letters of reference from all your employers for the past 10 years. My NOC Category is 1112 and I am claiming points only for the past 3 years. My consultant tells me that I shall submit the papers only for the past 3 years. I am confused on this. Can someone please advise.

Extra steps are only required for architects who are working as Professional engineers and not by all.

Licensing by a provincial or territorial association of professional engineers is required to approve engineering drawings and reports and to practise as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).

IELTS is valid for 2 yrs. Your application should reach before it completes 2 yrs. for eg. if you r reults were declared on 30th June 2012 the your aplication should reach them by 29th June 2014.

As you already applied for NSNP, it is your own decision to apply for FSWP or not
NB: FSWP takes around 70-80 days to reply by PER, so you will know your result max after 3 months from apply. On the other hand NSNP gives you 6 months after nomination to apply for CIC. You can manage time wisely

i am also in a same situation ..... am eligible for Nova scotia as well as this new federal program ....dont know what to do. eligible for MPNP too under friend and family stream but sister in toronto so they may refuse MPNP.

I have two small doubts.

My graduation is in Mechanical Engg and post graduation is in Management (UK). I am however, seeking to apply on mechanical engg category (NOC 2132) as I have over 2 years of work experience. Also, I am seeking master's (23) points in my application. Do you think I can secure points of my degree even if it is not same as my work experience.

Furthermore, I left my engg job in 2009, and till then I am either studying or doing menial jobs in UK. Do you think this can turn out negative in my case. IF YES, how can I make my case stronger . . . . . . . . .

Please reply me, so that I can put up my application asap.

Hello all

I'm eligible under the newly included occupation list. Now I have a question. I gave general ielts in 2011 & got a score of 8. Then I gave academic ielts in 2013 & scored 8.5. Now I know that FSW requires general ielts. But can I submit the academic one with the main app now & send the general one later? Since it will take time to sit for general ielts & then receive the results & THEN apply! What to do? ???
