This thread is for all the 2014 applicants who applied in CPP-Ottawa under PNP/QSW stream and are still waiting for DM/PPR to share their views and keep each other posted.

Do you know any reason that might be causing delay? For me security is not started yet since last 8 months.

Security is "supposedly" the only part in the whole application process for which is performed by a 3rd party and CIC has no control over it. If security is not started on your application, and is still in review with CIC, they should give an explanation as to why there is so much delay on your application. If gcms notes do not give you a hint, I would recommend doing a case specific inquiry or ask your MP to contact them again and find out the reasons for the delay.

I did everything. I called CIC in december, they said everything is clear but Security is not started. They don't the reason why it's delay.

I ordered notes on December end. It says medical, criminality, eligibility pass, but for the security: "not started".

Then after a month I called MP, she told me processing time is 26 months and I said it's 15 months nd it's written on website. So she called CIC. They told her same thing that you mentioned and replied her same thing, " I don't have any outstanding documents. File is just lying there. Everything is cleared but the Security."
