"Hello:
Please note that the Regional Labour Market Demand Stream is closed to new applications as of 5:00 pm April 28, 2014. We will only accept applications postmarked before this date.
Due to the large number of applications we can not give you an update. You will be contacted when your application starts processing. If you have not been contacted it has not entered processing.
For further details please visit our website novascotiaimmigration.ca
If you are are interested in applying for Immigration to Nova Scotia our Skilled Worker Stream (requiring a job offfer) and our Family Business Worker Stream are still up and running. We have a total of 700 nominations we can make this year (only 150 are being used for RLMD).
There are other ways to immigrate to Canada as well, you can find information related to this on cic.gc.ca - the website of Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

*Beyond that this is the rule they had on Thursday, 20 March 2014 based on canadavisa website...
What happens to an application after the limit of 150 nominations is reached?
Applicants will be given the option of withdrawing their applications or remaining in the queue for next year.
When will applicants hear whether they have been nominated?
Applicants will receive a ‘pre-screening’ letter after their application has been assessed for completeness. Because of the large volume of applications to the program, the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration anticipates that it will take longer than three months to receive this letter.
