Not sure I understand the question... and I think that may be delaying help or contribution to your inquiry

First - Do you have a Bank statement, showing 3 months history, that meets or exceeds the NSNP requirement AND not showing a huge suddent lump sump deposit ? if yes, then I wouldn't worry too much about depositing and withdrawing stuff. The easiest thing is to show them your statement as it is -honestly. Of course you want to be sure you have the minimum amount. I'm not an agent, just stated my opinion. Must agents are experts so I will ask him why he/ she thinks you should do a withdrwal and then deposit..

Hi everybody

Please do not consider my opinion as if i am discouraging anyone from applying but just my opinion.

Logically speaking, when they talk about nominating the best 150, even for pre-screening, NSNP would have a certain number of applications in mind, so to an extent i can agree to this notion from A-Cheng that applications received on or after a certain date will be lined up for next year. Doing this will enable NSNP to start the pre-screening process of applications received up to certain date.

Dear all,

I have some query about my eligibility of applying for this NSN program (without job offer):-

1) In the guildlines, it said that a grand-parent, parent, spouse, common-law or conjugal partner of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada should not apply.

My situation is I am an accountant with CGA (HK) which I think my occupation is on the demand list. But I have a boyfriend who is a Canadian citizen in Nova Scotia and we a planning to get marry in a year or two years. I did visit and stay with him a few times when I visited. My question is just living with my boyfriend during my visit (less than 6 months each time) does not make me a common-law or conjugal partner, right? Am I still eligibile to apply for this NSN program?

2) English Standards and Testing

I did not take any language tests stated in the guideline. However, I was a MBA graduate and a BBA graduate with Accounting major and minor in speeh from a university in the United States which English is the principal of instruction. All I got are the transcripts from the university showing all the courses and grades but I do not know if this is enough as a proof to show English is the principle of instruction? Apart from transcripts, I also got references from my past employers written in English, can this be a proof too?
Or MUST I take language tests as stated in the guideline?

3) If I am eligible to apply, should I state that I will be staying in my boyfriend's house in my settlement plan?

Please kindly give me some advice.

Hi everybody, recently my father and I learned about the policy of immigration that Nova Scotia established, he is an accountant and he is applying through a lot of canadian job sites, he wants to go with a job offer, but reading a lot of posts and some other threads, it is almost impossible having that setup, however, is it really hard to get? I know you don't have to have a job offer, but that's the way he wants it, I'm a college freshman and initially will stay put (we live in Brazil).

Thanks for your attention :D

I would say that NSNP doesn't have to know about your relationship.

Talking About English , I don't believe they will enforce in your case an English Test, with such Curriculum.

Talking about your settlement, again your perfectly build it without mention it, I don't think that mention that
your are going to live with a citizen in Nova Scotia will make your settlement stronger , but your clear intention to live and work at NS

If you eligible, probably more than many of us in this forum.

go ahead you don't loose anything.

best of luck

Every time, you apply overseas to a JOB in Canada, you will get probably the same advice "ONLY PEOPLE AVAILABLE FOR INTERVIEW, WILL BE CONTACTED", this is a polite way to tell you , we need people already living in Canada for this position.

Is quite difficult to get a JOB from Canada.
