Sunnytheshine. Thanks for sharing BUT i may be a little slow here. CIC says, "you can go with both" and "withdraw one" ? sounds contradictory to me
Tenkrun10, i agree with you. It is not only contradictory but worrisome and i will state my reasons.
The first guide we got on this RLMD program stated two clear things that eventually served as pitfall for so many of us.
1. it was clearly stated that we can apply with IELTS Academic General , but along the line the rule was modified to align with CIC rules.
2. They also said you can apply to more than one province provided you show enough plan to settle in NS, this has also been used to disqualify people honest enough to state such having relied on the FAQs.
These are written rules that suddenly changed and no one can hold them responsible for it talkless of a telephone conversation probably picked by a customer service staff and not the back door staff doing the nitty gritty of the work.
My brother, just thread on the side of caution, congrats once again.
To refresh our memory, these are the extracts:
Do applicants need to take the IELTS General test if they have already passed the IELTS Academic test?
No. A passing score on the IELTS Academic test will be sufficient to prove English language proficiency.
Can applicants apply to the NSNP if they have already applied to another Provincial Nominee Program?
Yes, this is possible. However, applicants must meet all necessary requirements and demonstrate a genuine intention to make a life in Nova Scotia.
