Yes, you can apply for both PR immigrant stream. However, you will get only one PR.

Personally, I would suggest you to go ahead with federal class because it is more flexible. Again, it will take around 18 months process to get PR.
Points
1) you can settle down anywhere in Canada.
2) more options for jobs once you will land into Canada.

Regarding NS, you got NS nomination means half process has been completed from CIC end. If you are going to apply PR under PNP program then you will get PR around 1 year or less.
Points
1) you can settle down in NS only.
2) at least you have times for 6 months to apply CIC.
3) you can find jobs only in NS. If you will move out of NS then you need to supply details to nomination (immigrant team). Otherwise, they will track you because you committed to settle down permanently in NS.


Now you need to take decision yourself and find more details...

Firstly congo for your nomination.

For FSW, at the moment they are processing 8th May apps so your app reached on 9 June will take atleast 2 months to process, and DD to cash in, a week more.

You need to leave one of them to go ahead, means only 1 PR visa. Obviously FSW has better prospective and flexible in all sense. So the choice is yours, whether use current nomination and go ahead with that OR wait for nearly 2 months for FSW decision.

Definitely, you can.

I will advise you do not process with PNP, due to all pluses mentioned by @ sjulien.
Wait untill FSW decision, and if it will be possitive, you need to inform about it NSOI, because they can pass your Nomination to someone else in the queue. Remember you have only 6 months after your Nomination letter is issued.

So, the decision should be taken by you.

If you are sure about the success of your FSW application, go ahead with it , because in that case you have more opportunities than with PNP.

P.S. There is also a hiden underwater stone....

If you mentioned in FSW other province as destination, it is riscy, because CIC already received the Copy of your NS Nomination.
And I guess they will inform NSOI about your FSW application, and in the case if you will be unsuccessful with FSW application, NSOI can change its decision.


I analyzed all possible variations, I think.

So, it is your choice.

As per my analysis NSOI Nominate the candidates as per NOC Code and which is highly demanded in NS, i.e. Computer Professionals. Hope for the best in next week or month...

Best option might be to keep the nomination letter at hand and see what happens to your fsw application. Depending on how fsw will go, you can decided whether submit your PNP to CIC before the expiry date.

If I am not mistaking we have just addressed this issue.

I will strongly advice you re- read my earlier comment and the last paragraph of itexpert opinion.

Admissibility on PNP is strongly on determination to stay in province that nominated you.

If in your fsw form you still pick NS, you are good to go, but if you pick another province then it is dicey.

Whether you process nomination or not, a copy is sent directly to CIC. In fact where files are in process, CIC have had cause to contact applicants if they desire to convert their fsw file to PNP.

So should there be issues with the fsw and you now want to submit PNP form, I would know how CIC would evaluate your intent to stay in nominating province.

Again if you pick NS in your fsw form, no single problem , if not, thread softly. You could recollect that people who have PNP somewhere else where denied by NS.

I totally agree this possibility, but it is only in theory.
The province immigration offices are only CIC's counterpart, not colleague. we have no idea how well they are connected.
I suppose that CIC will look the letter only after it receives the application files. also, it is not CIC's duty to help the province counterparts verify applicants' genuine intention.
