Wanted to ask if the people that got nomination ever received the pre-screening mail at all or just nomination straight up? Just curious

How are you sure no one has received nominations ? You can't be sure can you?

The evidence we have suggests otherwise. First two people on this forum have received nominations according their report and their profiles are shaded green in the tracking sheet. Furthermore, the call made to NSOI seems to support the possibility - that 15 - 18 nominations have been made so far. The only evidence we have suggests that it is likely some nominations have been handed out.

If you are are interested in applying for Immigration to Nova Scotia our Skilled Worker Stream (requiring a job offfer) and our Family Business Worker Stream are still up and running. We have a total of 700 nominations we can make this year (only 150 are being used for RLMD).

There are other ways to immigrate to Canada as well, you can find information related to this on cic.gc.ca - the website of Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

she said my file is in Queue ... will get the reply soon

I just called to nsoi for status of my application . They told me that they are processing applications received till mid of March . My application reached there on 18th March . They told me that i will receive their any reply within next two weeks . They advised me to call after two weeks if i do not received any replyin next two weeks . They did not told me about no. of nominations issued till now .

I remember someone in this forum saying that he received nomination earlier.

I think at first they gave nominations but later discovered that some applications are better than others so they stopped and maybe will continue after going thru all applications to select the very best! My views anyways

I myself told her that my application reached nsoi on 18th March . Then she told me to wait for another two weeks . If i donot receive any mail within next two weeks then call again .

I just called NSOI, I asked them about my application, that I applied since on the 6th of March (1st day), the lady said they received about 5000 applications and right now they are attending to day 1 (March 6) to 17March application at the same time, that by July ending 2014, almost everyone would have heard from them.
