No, September 2014 - September 2013 = 12 months = XX in my formula.
XX/2 = 6 months.
So you should be writing your test in 6 months or less.

Well - I'm with you here. I'll believe it when I see it.

Thanks for reply and clarification.

I think, You are gonna come up with few of those MATH Models, while waiting for your citizenship application to be completed. Impressive mathematical approach though!

Being an Albertan, I am finding it hard to believe that they will have a decision within a year, from the date receive. I won't say no though! ;D

When I talked to CIC last time I told them if we all pay the same fee why the hell do we receive different services? The woman on the phone swore it shouldn't take longer than a year for Edmonton from now on. Of course I didn't believe a single word. We should consider ourselves lucky if we get test invites by fall.

I am not sure. My ecas has not shown that my file is transferred to local office yet.
I basically got nothing after Oct. 2014.

Need some clarification on CIC Process...

If your job moves from Edmonton to Toronto...then what will happen to the citizenship application process? Can it be moved from Edmonton to Toronto Offices and also does it affects the timeline???

TIA In advance

I called CIC today and they told that file has been transferred to local office on December 19. Anyone knows how long it takes for test invitation to come after transfer of file. Thanks

They usually don't update ecas status because they are working on new system and it will take time to complete transition. If you want to know if your file is with Sydney or LO you have to call them. My ecas is also not showing that file is transferred but actually it has been transferred. :)

Right now in Edmonton, it is about 1 year 3 months. Yours could be different - since CIC edmonton is speeding up.

How do you know this? How about Calgary, updates??
