Hi Asha,
I believed you need to do nothing for now, as it's stated in your email from CIO that "Your application has now been placed into processing". If anything is to be needed your will surely be contacted but for now you are good!
I got the same email.
I hope it helps!

I was asked to send my passports last nov 17th to my CIC intake office!!!
Offcourse I sent them on November 18th ;D

Waiting to receive wonderfull news!!!

Thanks,

All other things are fine, it's just police certificate that might be an issue.

I am inland applicant and provided 3 year old Police certificates and an explanation that I had been in Canada ever since. When my AOR was received, it said in the letter that no other information was required at the moment and I assumed that they were satisfied with my explanation. This is what it had said with the AOR:

Your application has now been placed into processing.
This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your fee payment
Please do not forward additional documents unless requested.

Does anyone know if that is a general letter or did they actually go through the docs and see everything was in-order and would have requested for the certificates then?

I actually had applied for new police certificates from the embassy back then but the embassy still hasn't issued my certificates yet (....yes they are slow....)

Hi Ashar,

I have also received the similar email from CIO today with UCI and EP number. I also didn't submit PCC from Japan, rather I placed an explanation letter along with my application package to CIC explaining I have already applied for PCC from Japan and it may require 2-3 months. By this time, I have got PCC from Japan. Should I wait for a letter from VO where they may ask to submit PCC. How long it normally takes to receive a letter from VO after CIO AOR, any idea? How many months it may require to complete our case from now?

Thanks and regards,

Eusufzai

BEST WISHES TO ALL
