hello bluesky19,

my timeline is a little bit behind yours. CIC received my application in June 21, 2013.

yesterday I emailed Ottawa office, they replied me this morning, see below:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in reply to your email (below).

Your application has completed the initial review process and there do not appear to be any outstanding information or documents for your application.

Accordingly, your file is now in queue for the final review process following which you will be contacted by this office with either a decision or a request for additional information.

I regret that I cannot provide you with a more specific expected date of completion for your application.

i hate these standard replies .. it does give you a specific info so you can know the expected time ..

not everyone's standard replies are the same thought...

one of my friend received a longer replies and states that do not send email again...

one week after, she received ppr.

you are right but i mean the reply did not give you any specific information ..

so in your friend's case, what did the long reply contain? any specific info?

PNP .. no need for points but there are conditions as per each province streams ..

thanks AINP2014 for a prompt reply. what are the conditions, i know he must have a certificate for that province. any other? Plus how long he will have to stay in that particular province.

it depends on each province .. i dont know all the conditions .. better to go to the province's web site and check the program conditions ..

Yeah I do that everyday....but they do have all the updates on GCMS notes I'm going to order my third GCMS this month and see if they are done with the security check...
