Also, another question ..Cyntact11 said:They also changed the Primary office from CIO NS to Manila Visa Office
Hi AINP2014! Manila sent the RPRF request and according to GCMS notes CIO NS sent a reminder letter to the visa office to sent a request for the fee as it is still outstanding.AINP2014 said:Also, another question ..
who did send the RPRF request?Manilla VO or CIO NS?
I wish you the best and hope you gather with your family soon .. just a bit more wait and you will receive itCyntact11 said:Hi AINP2014! I don't know why they would think it's faster I suppose because they request that to all of the applicants that my Representative handles... I'm from the Philippines so most applicants that I know are also transferred to Manila... They are also Filipinos.. But then again it depends... Processing time for Manila office is 14 months and Ottowa is 17 months.. These are just based on their website. A lot of people gets processed a lot faster here in Canada too I don't know why but one of the factors is if they applied under a certain category like skilled worker category.
In another thread on another forum I saw one particular applicant who's application was processed super fast and that's in Manila too I think it was within 6 months if I'm not mistaken.. I'll look for the thread and post it here.
I wish we don't have to wait too long.. Another special event in my son's life I've missed (Graduation day) and soon another birthday.![]()

Let's all keep each other posted... Hopefully this month has more updates for us.
I could guess how irritating it could be to check ecas everyday and c the same application recd...atleast inprocess would sound good..rather..AINP2014 said:no update for me todayas usual "Application Received"

I will do that but i was afraid that it may delay the process more ..bluesky19 said:as u r in Canada.. go ahead and apply for ur gcms notes.. that would give a clear picture
what exactly going on with ur file.. If I were u ...I would do that..
I don't think so buddy requesting for the notes would prolong your case.. never heard of it so far..AINP2014 said:I will do that but i was afraid that it may delay the process more ..
you are right .. i should do it to know what is going on ..bluesky19 said:I don't think so buddy requesting for the notes would prolong your case.. never heard of it so far..
I guess its good bet to do it ...rather than awaiting on assumption....
apply for it and check it out... I would say...
