Did any 2012 summer applicants hear back from CIC regarding Test recently?
 
Hi there,

I had friend from Hamilton who applied in April 2012 and RQ'd. Finally , last week she had her oath ceremony and the procedure tool around 2.5 years.

Applied September 2012
In process Feb 2013

RQ received April 2013
RQ Sent May 2013

Received a notice to prepare for a test January 2014.

Nothing happening, I try not to call cic because every time I got those repeated answer your file in process and you have to wait 36 months.
 
keep in touch there are few left in this forum who have applied in 2012 and have

RQ in 2013 and still waiting good luck to all office st.clair kindly proceed our

application as well.....

hi i got rq as well and every time i called CIC they told me to wait for 36 months before oath. and you know what it took me overall 10 months and 16 days from application to oath. It will come dont worry

processing; Jan 2013

RQ received : April 2013

RQ send: : May 2013

Test ST, Clair:jun 2014

Oath ceremony: wating
 
application sent end of feb.
application received on April 10, 2012.
processing started on December 12, 2012.

I sent completed RQ by April 2013

No updates since then.
Online status does not show anything related to RQ.

what is the expected test date?
 
CIC still have end of January 2015 to process your application, meantime suggest you

order atip report and check the current status and after January end CIC call centre will

follow up your case hope by that time you will hear some good news from your office.

my case is almost similar.. application 9th jan. 2012 in proces may 2012
rq March 2013. replied april end. 2013. since than no progress in file
have order atip report twice no movement.

whenever I call CIC they have standard reply processing time 35 months.

Good luck to you and hope I can hear something from CIC...
 
Just got my oath letter today. It will be held on Oct 24th at the Mississauga office.

Therefore, my responsible office is Scarborough CIC, RQ and test were in St. Clair CIC, oath in Mississauga CIC. It looks like they are trying to optimize processing by means of flipping cases to where they can be handled faster.

I got my test in beginning october and the oath is next week.
finally!!

it took almost 4 long long years.
