I'm about to send in the PR application to Canada any day now. Just to confirm, I send all the documents to Canada and only when I receive a letter from Quebec do I send them the necessary documents?

Yes, we sent the whole app to Vegreville in October. In January, we received a letter from CIC (snail mail, though we indicated we wished to be contacted by email) instructing us to request the Certificat de Sélection du Québec.

Application received at vegreville: march 4th 2013
AOR: march 20th 2013
Start processing file: march 14th 2013
CSQ application sent: april 12th 2013
CSQ approuved: may 9th 2013

Waiting for AIP

OMG, just received my PR Card, 40 hours before my departure. Thank the universe for being easy on me along the way. ;D Now I can really happy about going home and see family, my dog and friends.
Here is the time line for your reference, from the date I had my landing interview, it's took 73 days for it's arrival.

where did you have your interview? could you please share the experience? what did they asked you? was your partner there? how long have you been together?

Yes, should be around that time, your interview was just few days behind me. I checked it's exactly 71 days like it show on CIC site + 2 days mailing time. Good luck!!! ;D

Thanks!!! I'm so happy it's finally done. My landing was in Montreal, my husband went there with me as they required. The interview is quite simple, mainly double check the personal info that they already had in their system, then the office explain the obligation like you have to live in Canada for at least 2 year among the 5 year period, and bla bla. Nothing tricky. Then you leave with the signed landing paper. Took only 10-15 minutes if you don't have lots of question to ask.

Saw on news few days back, seems the negotiation was in progress, hopefully the strike will end soon. Good luck!!! ;D

We should soon get some more 2013 applications to be added!

The AIP shouldn't be to long, with them having time off for summer and more applications in the summer in general, things have slowed down recently. I've been waiting over four months for my final decision. Hopefully soon they will get moving again with applications. Good Luck!

Im the first? I guess is because the thread is 2012 quebec inland... guess that 2013 applicants feel like "is not their place", there's no 2013 thread tought...well, im glad i joined you guys
I just have one question:... @ chrischengwy and you @ jg84 along with other quebec applicants (kidvicious was 7 days!), seem to have get aip shortly after you csq (around a month i think)...is it too weird that I have been waiting since may (almost 3 months now) to get aip? I got csq may 9th! is this because of the strike or might be something worst.. or is it simply like thawt in some cases?
stress is awful, hopefully it will end it up soon!

I wouldn't worry that your AIP is taking longer, it can take up to 3 months I believe, and they seem to be processing very slowly lately maybe because of summer holidays. Also it doesn't mean your timeline will take any longer than us, as you see my timeline was delayed a lot between AIP - Decision made. The fact your AIP is taking a while may mean all your other documents are set in order for your DM to be faster. Keep looking on the bright side
