OMG!!!!

Im jumping of happiness guys!!!!

I got an email from CIC saying that my Permanent Residence has been completed!!! And they will contact me soon to schedule an interview!!!

I only have one question though! ... They are asking me to pay the Rights of Permanent Residence fees $490 buuuut ... When we sent our application I did a payment of $475 that I thought it was that!! Now Im confused! What was that 1st payment for then??

Im gonna give CIC a call tomorrow to make sure, but do you guys have any info on that 1st payement that I think we all did?

Congrats loops!! Just the papers to go, it shouldn't take to long for that.
Of course the PR card to wait for as well but by that time, your PR anyway and if you want to travel sooner, just get the PR card done as urgent.

Congrats on the good news Loops!

Chickadee, I wish you continued happiness in SC.

I just mailed out my finger prints to the FBI yesterday. Next step, scheduling a medical exam. Then more anxious waiting ::)

Quick question...

If CIC found anything missing (aside from police cert and medical) from my PR application, would they have returned it to me before processing sponsership? Or would they wait until after stage 1 before returning an 'incomplete' PR app?

seems my applications stuck with a slow person eh <.<

When they first open your application, they do a check to make sure they have everything (not in great detail). So at this stage it won't be sent back to you for something missing. If they do find something which is needed, they would simply send you a request by email or letter for you to send it to them.

They wouldn't even have started the sponsorship if it was incomplete.

True, with yours I would call the call centre and ask about immigration, Criminality, Security, for each one the call centre can see whether it is not started, in progress or complete.

Then from there maybe request your GCMS notes.

oh i know that problem... i wait for my AIP.....

Thanks again for the reply. All this waiting and reading on the forums is making me second guess everything about my application. :(

It certainly looks like they are stuck somewhere! I think you should call the call centre. Something seems to be going wrong. :'(

Sending you good vibes! 8)

Hi there!

I'd like to join this group. I'm Japanese. Many Japanese choose apply outland, so it's not easy for me to get information about inland, especially from Quebec.

Here is my time line,
Application received at CPC Vegreville, 07 Dec 2012
AOR, 21 Jan 2013
Start processing file, 21 Jan
CSQ Application sent, 18 Feb
CSQ Received, 18 Mar

I'm waiting for AIP.
By the way, MICC says the decision of MICC will be sent directly to CIC. On e-cas, can we know that CIC received the decision?

I hope we can get a good news soon!

Welcome to this discussion board, Tomorisu. Stick around, you will get a lot of useful information here. ;)

I do not believe that ecas will inform you that CIC received the decision. It certainly did not in our case. But if I am incorrect, I am certain that someone else will chime in.

Yes! I think that your officer and mine might be a same person. ;)
