Yes I know, I also applied from Montreal.
So below is the timeline for you, shown on the chart:

Name - Mateo25

APP Rec - JULY 26

AOR - NOV 15

In Process - NOV 15

MICC & CSQ - FEB 12

AIP - Feb 15

Decision Made - FEB 25??

PR Landed Interview - (This isn't an actual interview though - more like a ceremony with a couple of questions).

If you have your Final Decision, then there are 2 more steps, they send you an email or letter with your landing date when you get your Permanent Residence Papers. This is either at the local CIC Office or at a port of entry. You should be able to choose which you go to.

After your landing, you will have your Permanent Residence papers but you still need the Permanent Resident card and that takes up to 2 months to be sent out by mail. (They advise not to leave the country before you get the PR card).

According to your timeline, your ecas should say, complete for the sponsorship part and for the permanent residence, it should say in process as you have not had the landing yet. But ecas is not reliable at all.

Mine still says received for both sponsorship and permanent residence, even though it should say in process.

Yeah ;D Got my CSQ today. :P

So next step is wait for AIP, then I can go apply for French course and medical card, right?

with CSQ you can do a french course online!! Check the guide apprendre le quebec!

Thx, yep, checking on it.

Hey Everyone!

I just got an email from CIC saying that "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence will be processed separately and the applicant will hear from this office shortly." My wife got an email saying "It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident status as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class."

Hurray!

Congrats Simon ;)

Checked my Ecas today and got updated with medical results received - the new ones. So hopefully will get moving again.

Thanks! I was panicking so much these days, I hope we get the DM soon as well. Btw, how do you put your timeline under your user name and under your comments? I would love to do that since its easier for people to see.

Congrats Simon!!!!

Looks like CIC is moving faster and everyone is getting good news!!
Finally my Ecas has an "In process" but not showing if they got the medicals ... guess I have to wait! They are working faster but still taking long to update ecas!

Ill ask again as no response before, People that have got their AIP, did you send your CSQ directly to the CIC or was the MICC sending a copy enough?

You do not need to send it.

If you click Profile, you can add it to your signature (I think you need some sort of post count above 10?) also, you can add it to your profiles 'Profile Information' section.

What did CIC tell you?

I was also told that you don't need to do anything, although it is written on my CSQ that it depends if the VO would request it. I then called CIC and they told me that I don't need to do anything. So things should be ok :D

I hope I can seriously help people who are in the same situation as my wife. Anyone who thought that hope is all lost, I can tell you that God does miracles and that you have hope, unless you are sponsoring someone 3 days from their deportation. Kind of too late by then...
