They haven`t requested medical yet. Still waiting.

Just wanna ask if anyone here got a pre arrival services from IRCC?

My mom just got yesterday. And im curious how long should we wait for PPR request?

And btw her timeline:
Oct2011 - Submitted Docs
Jul2015 - additional docs request
Aug2015 - submitted all docs
Jun2017 - they start the processing
July2017 - medical request
Oct2017 - medical submitted
Feb22,2018 (10am) - additional docs requested for dad death cert
Feb22,2018 (1pm) - pre arrival services
Feb23,2018 - death cert submitted

They probably found the death certificate as we already submitted that before thats why they send the pre arrival services after. But im hoping that PPR request come soon.

Any update to those who have same timeline there?

It's been how long already we still haven't heard anything from CIC. The last we heard from them was 2015-early 2016 (because we have to resubmit some papers). I'm beginning to think my parents will be dead by the time anything gets approved

Hi. Dont think that way. Did u try to call them? Coz u know what happened to my mom documents. when my brother decided to call cic early 2017 we found out that my mom application is closed already as they said they didnt got any additional documents from us which is not true as we submitted all of them. But the sad part there they closed the application without letting us know about it.. so i suggest u try to call and ask.
 
We received PPR within 2 days of pre arrival services.

Hi there friends,

Today, I got my Pre-arrival services letter along with a request for Police Certificate. Also Background check changed from "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check" to "Not applicable".

When do they start my back ground check? How long until PPR come?

Im just gonna give instruction to my mom what to do and where to send her passport and i dont wanna make mistake about it.

Is this the right address to send it?

you should have instruction in PPR letter
 
Folks, we received request to do medical and request for passport simultaneously. Visa Office Dakar
Timelines:
07/2011 - Application:
07/2015 - Sponsorship AOR:
08/2016 - Sponsorship Approved and sent to visa office, Dakar:
10/2017 - Request for Additional Info
02/2018 - Pre-arrival services letter
03/2018 - Request for medical and passports

Between - my mother has a valid medical to expire soon , 27 March 2018. I am not sure the medicals of the dependents will be ready to send everything in one package before the 27th. What can I do to waive mother`s medical? can an extension be granted? what reasons should I give? or should I re-do her medical to be on the safe side?
