We emailed them and said our application is queued. Re medical is one of the big issue imagine how many person in the application and aside from that the medical in St. Luke it's not even funny how people line up and back and forward they have to travel from Province to Manila daily. And honestly it's really costly for us. The total person in our application are 6. Where have u done the medical exams?

It could be difficult for your particular case and you have to travel to some other city to get the medical.

However in my case they requested the re-medical on 25th of March and got the medical done on 4th April and today online status shows medical Passed. In Canada it cost around 250-275$ in other countries it could even cheaper 100-150$.

We have also submitted our re medical(old one being of Aug 2015),on 30 march 2017,hope they call for PPR soon.

Hi all, I would to share my not with you. My parents and my brother have received their visa yesterday from Ankara. The expiry day is almost 1 year from the medical date. Cheers!

My parents were here in Canada on Supervisa and they went back India for few months. Now they wanted to come back again. So my question is, Do I need anything else than Supervisa Insurance for them? I.e.Invitation letter or any other supporting documents.

You can apply for simple visit visa that way you don't need supervisa insurance. If they would like to live longer then six month then you can apply for extension one month before expiry of valid visa stay.

Thanks Rightback. But my parents still has valid supervisa, which is expiring in 2018. they stayed 1 1/2 years here on supervisa as well. So I was just worried about them if they needs to face any issues while coming back.

Just few minutes ago we got a PPR email for my mom.Decision made on cic status on 2nd of march.PPR letter dated of 14th of march but got it today after over a month.

Thanks Rightback. But my parents still has valid supervisa, which is expiring in 2018. they stayed 1 1/2 years here on supervisa as well. So I was just worried about them if they needs to face any issues while coming back.

If they have valid multiple entry visa until 2018 then they can come back anytime no need for insurance etc on return. Just make sure it was multiple entry visa?

Honestly I don't mind paying more than what they do back in Philippines Aside from long line ups and you have to travel back and forward to Manila it end up costly more than that including your meals during travel and the effort and stress you will experience. The medical exam might last more than 6 hours trust me people in the Hospital are just about to cry for what they are experiencing and have no guts to complain because that's their only last way out. I just hope they will have a better system especially for those Senior citizen and the children. In Canada they are more specific and the procedures are clearly stated and the application here is more convinient and they will reply and update your status and it's such a stress free for us in here when we do the application. They even help you out to solve some issues. Sometimes I don't know and I don't understand...

Soon after 1/Feb/2017 my Sponsorship Application Status turned to "Decision made" and Permanent Residence application status became "In progress". But 2 weeks ago I found that the Permanent Residence application status reversed to be "Application received". I am worrying if anything went wrong. Please let me know why it happen. It's been almost 3 months since the file being transferred, when will they send the Med request to my mom?
