Beware of the phone number 613-242-2100 as its scam and received call today describe as IRCC immigration officer and tried to threat I put down the phone. I called RCMP abt this call and found its a scammer number they tried to get money from u by reporting to deport u. Pls beware and if received same kind of call informed ur local Police

Hello All,
Based on my GCMS notes, It seems my sponsorship application initially passed and then transferred to LICO/KOJAD department for further assessment. I married couple months after I applied for sponsorship. I applied without including my wife's income. I meet all the LICOs (not including 30%) without considering my wife's income between 2011-2014. I have the following question and appreciate if someone can respond to them:

-Do you know how long this step process take time?
-for 2011 applicants, I am assuming LICO is not included 30% top up. Am I right?
-I know about the KOJAD case. Should I add my wife's income in this stage to be safe?

As of today i have completed

Seven Months from dated of submission of Additional documents (from 24th Nov 2015)
Four months from Second Acknowledgement Letter after submission of additional documents (from 27th Feb 2016)

as of today i do not have any update on my case, and no use of calling call center, and looks like in this month GCMS notes are also delayed too

As days are passing i am worried about the two things
a. if they find any additional mistakes and say your application is rejected
b. every day is passing our parents are not going to get healthier. it would be win win situation for immigration canada to have my parents application rejected

don't know how to express my frustration. and pain

What's happening with the Petition we all signed? we should send it... your right! The delay is something unbearable due to parents age their health conditions don't support in many reasons.

Markwaiting123, what is the status of you Sponsorship Application, you have submitted your additional documents three months ahead of me (i.e. Sep 2015), did you request for GCMS notes?

i have requested for GCMS on 5th June 2016, looks like it's going to take fill 31 days.

I have called call center, this time in got a help full agent, she was helpful but i did not have good luck, still its in process / review and decision not made yet.

That petition was addressed directly to MP. I think for every sign he should be notified. I also gave print out of that to my MP.

kcdasoju - haven't heard anything yet... still waiting! I hope month of July will be a good month to get to know some response. I have Requested the GCMS last
week it will take about a month to get a report. It's been a long wait and Frustrating situation.
Cgill - That's a great job! I hope they will work on the Petition we have received so far...

is Negative Result Good or Bad?

i ask this question on GCMS forum and had 50/50 feed back some said its good, some said there could be some remarks on my file saying that i have used Canadian Government welfare system.

but the fact is i have not got a single cent from Government of Canada as a support so far

i think majority of us has applied for GCMS Notes, so can someone please check their notes and share their feed back please
