kind of weird this processing of applications.

my in-laws who applied in 2011 are still waiting for sponsorship approval and yet today someone from 2016 say they have received approval and case sent to ottawa.

i know this topic has been discussed over and over but it seems there is absolutely no logic to the process and the way things are moving.

however much one tries to keep positive it can be difficult to understand how someone who applied 5 years after my in-laws can get approval before them.
seems totally unbelievable.

but folks still do not like to raise their voice, and write letter to MP!

7 people from 2016 batch on this forum have received sponsorship approval today. I don't understand what is going on with CIC under the Liberal government. It is a total non-sense! If they wanna do things fast, that's good, but it should not be at the expense of those who have been waiting in line for more than 5 years. I don't need anyone preaching patience blah blah here. This is totally unfair!

I am starting to think this is political. Liberals want to rush and start processing 2016 cases without clearing the backlog from previous years to be able to say that they made parent sponsorship faster. It can now take a few months to get approval in the first stage vs. 5+ years under the Conservatives. And when they are asked about the backlog they will say every case is different, which is a total BS.

P.S. I say this as someone who voted Liberal in the last election.

HI What does ( R10 requirements)mean?

Following was message send by winnipegmb couple of months ago.

That letter is an AOR or Acknowledge of Receipt. This signifies that your application is now complete from a documents' perspective, aka "met R10 requirements". Next step is Sponsor Approval and that really varies. For example, I recieved AOR back in Oct 2015 and didn't get Sponsor Approval until mid-April 2016. In the past, some have gotten Sponsor Approval in as little as two months after AOR.

As for a 2015 Queue, not sure if there is anything like that as PGP visa quotas don't roll over into next year; at least I have found no evidence of it. The line about your appication being in queue means its now ready to be processed and will be looked at in order of when it was considered complete i.e. processed after all the completed apps from Nov 24 and prior are looked at.

Why are you asking about R10 Requirements at this stage?

What exactly did CIC inform you, did say you meet the R10 Requirements.

did they say you did not meet the R10 requirements?

following is the link for R10
