I received an email from CIC on Jul 29, 2015 asking for the forms and documents (IMM 0008, travel documents, and etc.). We've sent it to my brother last week and he's reviewing it before sending it to CIC Mississauga. Hopefully he'll do it soon so I can get the medical requirements out of the way.

Does anyone know when they'll signal applicants for medical requirement from the submission?

Is it usually six month? I'm sorry I'm just trying to get a rough time when they'll tell you get one. If you know anything about this ;D

when they received your documents? I will say max 6 months to medical just guess

CIC has received them on August 19.

My understanding is that before they will send the medicals you should be approved as a sponsor by them.

Sponsorship approval and transfer to LVO is next stage. Sometimes medicals are requested at the same time as file transfer to the visa office or the medical request is sent afterwards.

sponsorship approval was via email(if email id provided). some people from last year are still waiting for sponsorship approval. my approval took about 7 weeks after AOR was received.
