The usual Generic Email.

Your application has been received by our office in Mexico. Our office will contact you as soon as we are ready to start processing your file. An exact review schedule is not yet available. However, all applications will be reviewed in the order in which they were received.

Finally got a DM on ecas and email that Stage 1 (sponsorship) is complete - after 5.5 years.
Secondary review took 8 months to finish.
file transferred to Ottawa. my parents have gone back to india.
how long it will take now for stage 2 from ottawa? is ottawa faster than new delhi?

It seems your file was also in pending review. I am not sure why it is not under your profile. Can you please share your time line for Pending review , So that others can get help from you?

I have applied on 11th Sep 2011

on 7th July 2016 i have received letter stating that Decision was made (Sponsorship Approved) from CPC-M

however in case of my eCAS status changed in Sep and it stated that my parents PR was started on 11th Sep 2016 at Ottawa Office.

as of 15th Dec 2016 we have not received any medical or PCC request yet.

came to know if your family size is small (just father and Mother) case is being processed in Ottawa.

in the past Ottawa used to be much quicker.

Could you please help me by giving some detailed time line on medical tests (as of now i am waiting for my parents medical tests)

Q1. Once you have done medical test at the Panel Doctors Office, How much time will they take to compile tests and send eFile to CIC.

Q2. When did your eCAS (Online Status Change) i.e. how long did it take to change your online status from the date of Medical test to status update

Q3. When you said Online Status, did you mean eCAS (Old link) or GCkey (New Link)

could you please help me in answering these questions as i am expecting medical test in next few weeks or months

Got email from Delhi Visa office to submit copy of New Passport, as old passport is expired.

Email also says, scanned copy of passport can be submitted via email

I have attached scanned copy of passport in reply to the email i got. I think i should be good. Does any one knows any other way to send documents like this?. Because after this, i have to send PCC and other forms asked by Visa Office

May be using ECAS, then webforms?

Any one knows about it? Or have done this before?

I know i have to send via courier as well. Coz cic need original PCC

PPR is the final stage of the Car wash,

what i have noticed as we get close to the exit door, less and less people show up at this Forum

Finally after five and half months from the date my parent’s sponsorship application was approval, yesterday night I have received email via GCKey advising me to submit the following

a. Medical Examination, within 30 Calendar days from the date of issue of the email / letter
b. Police Clearance, within 45 Calendar days from the date of issue of the email / letter.

Earlier I tried to have medical and police clearance done in advance in Hyderabad / India (i.e. with out the letter for Medical and Police clearance letter for CIC) and was unsuccessful.
