Have a question, I am trying to link parents sponsorship to My CIC.

Once I sign with GC Key---- use the combination of Family name and application number.

Application number -- F number in medical request.
Family Name - Last name of applicant correct?
Birth City - Put 1 space correct?
What about number of members in application - will it be 2 ( Father and Mother who are applicants) or what ?

Please advice

Please advice

Look in your paper application and see what number you have mentioned in your application. However you can try 2 first, if does not work retry with 1 or 3 (including you). You can make 5 attempt in 24 hours. so keep trying no worry.

Very sad news

Today, called again CIC call center to know status of the applications. Agent was nice and helpful. Agent told, there is NO processing time limit for PGP applications. It can be processed in 1 day or 6 month or 6 years. Agent also told that applications here are being processed since 2006. Also there is NO way to know how long it will take. There is no such procedure to know that.

Again, Just to wait and wait Smiley

At the moment, the only thing i can think off to promote the petition.

Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie on this forum and would really appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction. I applied for my parent's sponsorship on July of 2011. Below is some of the data related to my application:

Date Applied: July, 2011
Acknowledgement Receipt: February, 2013
Application Processing Started: March, 2016

Sponsorship Application is Approved
File transferred to Ottawa (Aug, 2016).

I was wondering how long will it take from this point on. Is someone in the same boat or around same timeline? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

It depends on the number of files in back log. But hopefully soon u get the Medical and PPR
