Well apparently whoever in this forum has applied in October 2012 has passed their tests except me. I also applied in Oct 2012 but didn't get a test date yet don't know why and I am frustrated now

does that mean we are in the OLD PROCESSING SYSTEM still and thats why its taking so long ?????

I am stuck with this frustrating Situation too

Applied in sep 2012
In Process March 2013
RQ Received in sep 2013 ,Replied in Sep With aloooooooooot of docs to support my file
Test in March 2014 (Passed the test)

Since then ( ) , and since then Just silence ,I have called several times but every time different answers :-\ :-
Ordered atip Last year and my last update was in April 2014( Hearing Required )...
So When it will be only God knows

Dude, have you been living under a rock? CIC lists processing times as being 3 years for "non routine applications" I applied in December 2011 and wrote the test in June 2014. This guys still doing better than me.

am waiting for almost 39 months now.... applied in January 2012...

no porgress file assigned to officer.... next step no one knows.....

did all what I can do the rest left in God will..

So I called CIC today to find out about my case since I have not got a test date yet and I applied for the citizenship in Oct 2012, the lady told me that it is fine nothing to be worried about since you are still under 36 months period. So, I asked you mean everything will be done with in this period, test and oath ceremony? She replied yes. I was like okayyyy

keep calling and try to get involve your MP as well.

How about 42 months in processing??? I applied in October 2011 and tool the test in March 2014. My file was assigned to an officer back in January and since nothing. They have completely forgotten about us, we are not priorities so they will probably get to us sometimes in late summer, this is ridiculous.

That's unbelievable 39 months... wow.. but they say the call centre agent can take action if it's been more than the processing time.. Didn't they do anything for u? Also, have u taken the test already? What they say about the delay in making the decision??

Let us not forget that the call center is completely useless as is most cases they have no clues as to what is going on. They cannot tell you how long the process takes, they cannot make any decisions, they cannot speed up the process....basically they are cluesless and useless.

Yes I took my test in March 2014 but the bigger issue is that I don't think they have even reviewed the original RQ nor have they looked at the CIT0520.
