Will the medical/PCC request be sent as one letter to the principal applicant or separately to each of the sponsored family members?

The reason why I'm asking this is, in the GCMS notes, the principal applicant's (father) address is correct, but somehow under my mother's name, they still show my parents' old address.

It seems like they didn't update the address for everyone.

Thanks.

The different address you noted maybe if your mother had ever applied for a visa at the time when they lived at old address then the system continues to reflect same address for that person.

But don't worry about that address as all correspondence is addressed to the principal applicant. Just make sure those detail are correct and up to date.
The medical request for everyone will be send to the principal applicant.
Some LVO's send medical request email separate to the email that requests documents.

OK. that's great. thanks a lot.
Old address was given to CIC when we first applied. Then my parents moved to a new place and I informed CIC about their new address. They apparently changed it only for my father.
I also gave them my email address to be used for any correspondence with my parents. But this information is not visible in the GCMS notes.
I will order GCMS notes again in one month or so. Hopefully, I can see more details then.

After emailing to MP how much time it. Takes to get reply?

Hi Guys,

Just got passport request for my mom today from my local LVO. They have suggested if my mom is currently in Canada and not planning to leave within 3 month to send her passport to Ottawa office .
What do you think ? Should I send passport to my local LVO or Ottawa ?
Could you share Ottawa email address with me ?

Thanks,
Fel.

We got the email for PPR request today. I can't say the last 5 years waiting for this day were easy but the relief today when I saw that email in my inbox was unbelievable.

The subject matter for the email was Re: Ready for visa

They need to ask if we're ready.................... ;D
Took us almost 5 years to reach this day but so happy today.

Good luck to all still on this journey. I hope you all get this email soon.

Congrats SooniHope :)

Thank you. Also I see first passport request has come for May-Nov 2011 batch so I hope you hear something on your case as well.

Only the people who have waited in this process can truly understand the feelings you go through during so many years of waiting.

Hi file transfer to Ottawa on March 17-16 and still waiting for medical request. I just contacted my MP as he is so helpful and hope receive some update next week. My parents case filed Nov 2010.

Permanent residence application status has been now changed from "In Process" to "Application Received" again.
Why is ECAS doing this?

I'm so happy for you Soonihope! You're so helpful to so many here.

I think it's really nice that we all want our parents with us so badly :)
