Hi everyone,

I have a question about how to fill out the form IMM1283 (Financial Evaluation).
CIC asked me to fill it out for the period specified which is from October 24, 2013 to October 24, 2014.
Which value do I include in the field "Total income available to sponsor"?
Usually it would be the annual income (Jan 1 to Dec 31) from Option C and easy to find.
But in my case, I have to include some partial months.
My pay stub would include the semi-monthly income (October 16-October 31).
Do I have calculate the exact income per day e.g. from Oct 24 to Oct 31 and add it to the income from Nov to Dec, 2013?
Please advise.

Thanks.
hi psAug2010!!
Same has happened with us too. CIC has asked for pay stubs for the period Sep2013-Sep2014. Same has happened with one of our relative also. Can you please suggest what can be done for this? Strange thing is that they had sent me a sponsorship approval letter in Jan 2015.After this I had been waiting for file transfer to visa office at Delhi. Unfortunately month ago cic mailed to me that my sponsorship application for my parents is to be reassessed for which they asked for income stubs from September 2013-Sep2014 even though the income was full for all the years.

Hi pjot88,

I'm currently waiting for the 2014 Option C before I can send all the documents to CIC. They asked for 2013, 2014 Option C, T1, T4, pay stubs (Oct 24, 2013-Oct 24, 2014), & a recent employment letter.
In regards to the pay stubs, I'm calculating Q11 based on soonihope's and Cgill's suggestions so that I have the income of 52 weeks:
Last week of October 2013 + (November 1, 2013 to October 15, 2014) + the next week in October 2014.
I will add a separate sheet explaining my calculations as my pay stubs are semi-monthly.

For Q12, I'm using the numbers from 2013 Option C & for the minimum necessary income field in Q8, I'm using the LICO of 2013.

I hope that CIC would accept this.

This is the LICO table I put together doing some google searches as CIC always post the current year's values only:

Size of Family LICO
--------2016---2015---2014---2013----2012---2011---2010---2009--
2 p $30,286 $29,706 $29,440 $29,004 $28,182 $27,674 $27,601 $26,972
3 p $37,234 $36,520 $36,193 $35,657 $34,646 $34,022 $33,933 $33,159
4 p $45,206 $44,340 $43,942 $43,292 $42,065 $41,307 $41,198 $40,259
5 p $51,272 $50,290 $49,839 $49,102 $47,710 $46,850 $46,727 $45,662
6 p $57,826 $56,718 $56,209 $55,378 $53,808 $52,838 $52,699 $51,498
7 p $64,381 $63,147 $62,581 $61,656 $59,907 $58,827 $58,673 $57,336

Can some please confirm if it seems accurate?

Thanks.

Hi guys,

Do you know if CIC will maintain the same UCI Id of sponsorship or will there be new UCI id will be assigned to PR applicant.

Thanks,
Fel.

UCI is tied to a person's records. Thus, CIC will maintain the same UCI in all applications although the application/file numbers will vary all the time.

Important to mention here that sponsor and principal applicant will have different UCI numbers

My understanding is that an application number starting with F is usually assigned after the case gets into queue for processing. And that is normally maintained till the end to track all final words there.
I may be incorrect.

I have now received the 2013/2014 option C prints. Want to send all documents to CIC tomorrow. Just want to make sure that I'm including the right LICO amount for 2013 for 6 people.
Thanks

I also found 2013 LICO for 6 people was $55378, same as your table.

For questions like "amount of provincial allowance" or "pension income", do I just enter $0.00 or do I leave them blank?

use N/A or NIL or $0.00 for any questions which do not apply to you. I personally find when you leave questions blank that it can be interpreted as being incomplete by the officer.

OK. Will do. Thanks a lot for all your help.
I'm finalizing everything and will send out today by mail with tracking.
Hoping for the best :)
