Hi,

My file was transferred in July 2015. In the same letter they asked for the upfront medical which I did on very next day. ECAS showing current status "In Process". Do I need to send anything from the medical document or the doctor will automatically send the results to CIC. It's been more than a month now and no status change that they have received the medicals. Usually how long they take to change this information?

Hi
I am new to the forum. I sponsored my parents with one dependant fron Pakistan. My timeline is

Applied-july'10
Request for more forms -aug'14
Request for medical -may'15
Medical done -july'15
More medical test reqd -aug'15

I have a question regarding the emedical information sheet. Where do we need to send that? For Pakistani applicants, our visa office is London. What is the address for that if someone has already sent this info?
The address at which I sent, I contacted that office today and they are saying that they do not process sponsorship applications. So confused.

The doctor sends whatever is required to the visa office in London. That's what happened in case of my parents and sister in Lahore. However, I did upload the receipts they received from the medical centre to prove that they had done the medicals through the Case Enquiry tool.

The address for London office for furture reference is:

High Commission of Canada
Immigration Section
Canada House
Trafalgar Square
London SW1Y 5BJ
United Kingdom

This is what was written in the letter requesting medical

Requirement for Medical Examination
If your sponsored relative(s) has (have) not already done so, your relative(s) must provide an original Upfront Medical Report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a Panel Physician or an E-Medical Up- front Medical Notification information sheet. Your relative(s) must complete the medical examination and, once completed, forward this information directly to the visa office noted above along with a copy of this letter. Your application has been transferred to the visa office noting this deficiency. Your relative must forward the medical information directly to the visa office to allow continued processing of his/her application. Failure to do so will result in delays and possible refusal of your relative's application.

Also my brother was informed by the dr's receptionist that he needs to send the emedical info sheet with the letter rcvd. I am confused about the address where to send the required docs.

Hi Lakha Ji
Nothing to worry ecase usually confirm receipt of medical after one month or so & ecase is updated on every Tuesday morning. I am sure Tom when you will chek status at 8 am morning you will definitely get emedical information received too. In our case medical was done on 20th may but ecase shown medical recieved on 16th June& ecase changed to Decision Made on 28th July I am sure you will notice changes in ecase soon

Hi everyone! We have just received a letter by post regarding our file being transferred to our Local visa office (manila).

I have a few questions regarding the letter. Hope you could help.

1. UPFRONT Medical on the letter - should we wait for a medical request letter or form?

From the file transfer letter:

Requirement for Medical Examination
If your sponsored relative(s) has (have) not already done so, your relative(s) must provide an original
Upfront Medical Report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a Panel Physician or an E-Medical Upfront
Medical Notification information sheet. Your relative(s) must complete the medical examination
and, once completed, forward this information directly to the visa office noted above along with a copy

by the way my mother is the primary applicant and she is currently in Canada for a vacation. She will be back next month. How many days are we allowed to process the upfront medical examination? Is there a period of 30 days or how many days? What are the requirements for upfront medical? (We did not receive form IMM1017E) (or should we wait for a medical request?)

2. RPRF - In the letter it states : If the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is applicable to your application and you have chosen to defer the payment of the fee, you will be contacted to make the payment at a later date. A permanent resident visa cannot be issued to your relatives until this payment is submitted.
When and where can we pay the RPRF? How much is it? or are we suppose to wait for the letter requiring us to pay the RPRF?

Thanks in advance! :)

I spoke to London office via email and they were able to find the medical reports in their system. they have told me to disregard the request for medical and told me that they have linked them to the immigration file. Paid the RPRF fee yesterday so its in the final stretch....hopefully the passport request comes soon as my parents are traveling to states from August to October.

How did you contact them through email? What is their email address?
Thanks
