Hi

I had applied for my parents in sep 2010 and received the AOR on March 20 2015 but nothing after that. Is there any way i can find what is going on with my file. Please advise as i am getting too much worried now...

Got AOR for additional doc in Jan 2015
i got approval in feb 2015
and my parent got med request already ..
You should check website and see under processing time tht which year they are working on
that will give an idea .. if they passed your time you should phone them and ask
cic is pretty good at explaining things .

Did you get a request for up-front medical when you got "Sponsorship Approval/File Transfer" on 03-02-2015 ? Or did you wait until they requested on 06-06-2015?

The med request came via email on June 6. However, i didn't get it 'cos they sent it to the wrong/old email address; even though, i have updated the file last year. Luckily i called them and they resent the form to my new email address on June 16th. They asked to submit med results within 30 days from the date of the request. We almost missed the deadline. My Mom had to drop everything and travel to the other city for exam. For people who got their approvals and awaiting med request i recommend calling call centre and get case status update.

Received passport request on June, 23, 2015. Submitted passport on July 02, 2015. Got passport back today on july 16, 2015 and stamp date was july 06, 2015. Last few steps from Cic was super fast. Now can i ask for any tips for landing process? Planning to just go and come back from usa.

Thanks for the response! Looking at your timeline it seems that you got Medical Request 3 months AFTER the approval letter. I am just trying to determine how much time my parents have to complete the medicals as our approval letter is asking for upfront medical tests but there is NO due date.

Will you please share that on 1 april 2015 on first medical of your applicant, whether penal doctor advised for additional test on that day i.e 1.4.2015 or on which date he advised for additional tests. I am worried about my father his initial medical was done on 22.5.2015 and till date no progress and I fear penal Doctor may advised further test like in your case, however on 18 june 2015 ecase start showing medical results have been received but afterward no change in ecase it still shows medical results received.will you please guide and advise me Thnx

Called the help desk. they said it was an internal correspondance which is mentioned on the gcms notes.
we should give them a call 6 months after AOR.
