I think the Medical requests are being sent according to the date of application filed. eg : months in 2010 / 2011

I dont think so because we applied feb 2011 and we are done with the medical ...

Hello All,

Yesterday I got a AOR email from visa office New Delhi stating that "your file for has been received and you can check the status on CIC website through the immigration file number on the letter" Letter attached in the email dated Feb 21, 2015.

Hi,

I updated our spreadsheet and included original date of application as added info based on your previous posts. You're free to edit your own timeline for more accuracy.

Hope we'll get good news next week since last week was a bit slow for most of us.

God bless our applications.

If that was the case forum member Kaitmhia applied in June 2010 and received sponsorship approval on 9 Jan 2015 and is yet to receive medical request.
Therefore this member should have been the first to receive medical request if it was based on date of application received.

also you applied in Sept 2010 and Lalu78 in Dec 2010 yet Lalu78 has received PPR already.

Can't seem to work out how medical requests are being calculated from Ottawa.

Can anyone tell how much time will my parents have to do the medical? thank you

That's absolutely true. Let's just sit and wait and hope for the best.

My mother is in Canada

Hi Lalu78,

My parents are also here in Canada on visitor visa and have stay valid till April 8, 2015.

What are the requirements for having the medical done in Canada? Do they have to be on super visa ?

Thanks

Hi EverythingwillbeOK
if u dont mind I would like to ask u any question?
1. how old was ur dependent when u applied? and does he/she continue to study?
2. so did they ask u about doc education for ur dependent when u received medical request?

thank you in advance

Over 22 but 19 during the application.. They didn't not ask for any doc.. They will just send you a letter that you need to have your medicals within 30 days. No other document asked. :)

hey Soniji
will please guide asto whether parents on supervisa in canada and file being processed from cpc Ottawa has to go back to New Delhi for landing purpose or is there any provision to get landing in Canada itself by submitting some forms . This seems to be common point being faced by the sponsors whose parents are either on visitor or supervisa presently residing here

One way to deal with this situation is to "flagpole" basically most people in Canada live within reasonable distance of USA border. I have known of people who drive into USA and return same day via road back to Canada. So you leave and enter Canada thereby meeting the requirements of entering Canada as PR. No need to fly back to India.

Congrats Lalu78.. let us know when you receive visa stamped passport :)

Hi Cool_5, where are your parents located? I see you have submitted Med and PCC.

Looks like PP request might take up to 2 Months if parent is in Canada. Does anyone know how much is the wait if parent is in India? Also, is PP request will be by Ottawa or by New Delhi?
