Dear Jelani Ji I have seen your post in which you have written that Ecas Decision Made shown on 2nd Feb whereas your file stand transfered well before I.e on 27th Jan that means that CIC is not updating ECAS on the same date when they make any decision. I got approval ,& file transfer of my Father (No dependent) on 18th Feb 3015 yo Ottawa but not gtg further action & Ecas. stand unchanged Would you pl advise

you must check your email and ecas ..your case went into in process before mine did
and check your ecas

yes, mine went in process since feb19th and I checked today and still 'In Process' n waiting for passport request.........................

Hi michelv,

That's correct. My DM status as per ECAS was only seen after a few days since I received the email of sponsorship approval. I was checking ECAS daily since i received the approval and so it was Feb. 2nd when I first saw the DM status. I think, ECAS is not the absolute reference of our application's status. There are some VO who don't update ECAS religiously that's why some statuses have changed, some have not. As long as you got the approval's email and they have transferred your application to the visa office, you are good. We just have to wait patiently for the next steps.

My parents had their medical yesterday but it's not complete since they were advised for further exam but they gave them e-medical information sheet. Do we need to submit that to cic?

It is s routine emedical examination your parents need no to send emedical information sheet as the sheet contains passport number & also allotted emefical id number by CIC therefore all test results of clinical lab xray or ECG if done is immediately transferred electronically ad my father' emefical was also done at Chandigarh for SUPERVISA & results were conveyed directly & my father got Visa without sending any papers to CIC .Here too emefical is directly electronically transferred by Doctors to CIC Hope it I'd clear to now & Wish all success in e medical exam

I called CIC and they said that the file would be transferred to New Delhi within 6 month of receipt ( so in april 2015 -6 months from October 2014 ) The it is upto the India office to process.

What is the that timeline like. The CIC website says 73 months which is ridiculous.

Please help

welcome here buddy.m also indian.and got aor also in january. but still no approval.wht date u hot aor in jan.whts the date on letter.?or u can got visa within a year after file comes in india.so keep in touch bhaji.

I got my AOR in December and No approval letter yet , and when I called them they replied saying 6 months from AOR , so don't call us before May- June 2015 .
So I suppose you processing is in line with whats happening with everyone else.

No need to worry 6 months waiting time told by CIC Call centre is a stereo type reply always given to the caller who so ever contact them. Some of the forum members got sponsorship approval within 3-5 months. It will be better if you click spreadsheet link on page 68 of 2010 Parents sponsorship applicant join here forum under the post of Jelani ji then you can always visualize the positions of all forum members and share their progress along with yours Wish you getting sponsorship approval soon

by AOR do you mean the confirmation letter from CIC? Mine is dated December 24.th 2014, stating that the completed documents was recived on October 16, 2014.

I did not sumbit the PCC , since it was not available at that time.

Also will paying the right of landing fees expediate the process?

I am unable to amend the spead that was kindly indicated.
