Hi Guys..

My online status for my parents PR application just changed from 'Application received' to 'In process' but I havent received any email for passport request. Can you guys please help what does In process means..

Mine still says "Application Received". After clicking it says - Medicals Received. When did you submit PCC?

If you look at the spreadsheet, Lalu's file was in process on Jan. 28th and got passport request on Feb. 18, 2015. So, your parents' file must have been under review now and you may get your PPR soon.

But in his case, his mother was in Canada. One question, will we get passport request via email from CIC Ottawa or home country office?

I think, it doesn't matter where our parents are. We still need to submit their passports and get the visa stamped on them and receive the certificate of permanent residence (COPR) for landing. They email passport request to the applicant (parents) as long as they put email address as their preferred communication. In my case, i put my email address for both of us, me as sponsor and my mother as applicant.

Thanks Jeleni. In your case, did you send passports from Home Country to Ottawa? How many days did they take to stamp and return the pp?

I havent'received medical request yet and much more the PPR. Our file is still in Ottawa and even though it is being processed in Ottawa, i believe, when time comes, passport should be sent to my home country since my mother will be coming from there.

Ok Im taking a deep breath rite now lol.. I just called them and the agent told me that the file is been approved and transferred to New Delhi .Yay!! my address is changed to Canadian addr. Dont know what that's suppose to mean.

Hi Siki, I am quite nervous now.. I just logged on and saw that the status has changed to "Decision made" but have not received any emails. Office is now closed and cant reach them until tomorrow. What did they say about not emailing you the results when you called them?

Same was happened in my case too status shown decision made however next day on 18 Feb 2015 got approval of my father (without dependent )sponsorship by email. I am sure by now you might have received approval alternately you can request the to resend email.

Thanks for your message. It says Decision was made and letter was sent on Feb 26th but unfortunately I have not received anything yet. I guess my first call will be to CIC tomorrow morning.

I hv same timeline mine is tranfer last week 28 feb 2015 ..so ur also be ready to transfer to new dehli hope soon

Hey Thx for the reply No I haven't received anything yet . It says they have send me a letter a on feb 24 . I m Just gonna wait for a week and than will call back..
