If they stick to your 16 Sept date then hopefully any day now you should get approval. No one can say for sure how CIC works so there is a lot of unpredictability when we try to guess timelines for each stage.

Thank you very much for prompt and transparent reply and advise. Will you please guide me how to chek status on ecas, as I have tried to ascertain position by giving application number or client ID with DOB POB details but nevery get response but always advise to chek processing time.
Shall be obliged if I am advised any other method to know position even on phone that simply reply wait for 6 months the same reply was given to me in December 28 and I also they repeated same 6 month waitingtheory when asked for sttus on 3rd August,2015

Go to the CIC website and go on the "check application status". once you have followed the instructions you come to page where you click client id and then enter your client id which is basically your PR card number (it is an eight digit number). then enter your last name date of birth and country of birth. click the tab at the bottom of page and it will take you to the details of your application.
Make sure the details you enter are the person who is the sponsor not the parent details.

Hello My Brother is living in canada,Toronto. He was Spounser To Our Family(Dependent Child) in April,2010. Now We Had Done Our Medical In Nov.2014 And We Had Send in Dec.2014. Now We Are Still Waiting For Passport Req. Anybody Tell Me How Many Time For Receive A Mail To Submet our Passport To New Delhi Visa Office? Pls Pls PLs Tell Me.. ??? ???

Your next update on eCas will be when you are approved as a sponsor and it will say decision made. Until then you will not see any activity on eCas.
